Grubby defeats Lucifer in WC3WW. Here at World Cyber Games.
WarCraft 3 World War kicked off today with a match between MeetYourMakers' Lucifer and 4Kings' Grubby. Lucifer said before the match that it will be very hard, since he lost against Deadman's Orc yesterday in the WC3L.
- I am very sad, I hope I can win versus Grubby, he says at the MYM site about the match. This match was to decide which player to advance to the Grand Finals, and the loser will have to go through the regular season with the rest of the 22 players.
Played offline in Korea and broadcasted by MBCGame, the players were dressed up in the World War suits, Lucifer in red and Grubby in blue. The first map was Terenas Stand and went to Grubby. Lucifer quickly evened out the score on Gnoll Wood. Then Grubby won the last games, played on Twisted Meadows and Turtle Rock. This means that Grubby will be waiting for Lucifer and the other 22 players to finish their games.
Sadly the replays will not be released, so we will have to wait for the VODs. Zerter says at ESReality that upcoming matches can be watched at » PlaySC, every Wednesday at 09:30.
