To clear deep floors in the Age of Origins Medici’s Treasure event, allocate 20% to 30% of your total fleet capacity to frontline defense, keep mid-row units minimal, and fill the remaining capacity with your highest-tier long-range damage dealers. Because troop casualties do not regenerate between battles, an all-out offensive preset will quickly collapse. Preserving your frontline is the single requirement for keeping your high-damage backline alive through later encounters.

Medici’s Treasure heavily penalizes chip damage because health carries over across every grid fight. Building around a Long-Range Attack (LRA) core ensures enemies are eliminated before they chew through your defensive line.

Fleet SlotRecommended UnitsRole and Allocation
FrontlineInfantry, Armored Tanks, ShreddersAllocate 20%–30% of total fleet capacity. Absorbs enemy focus and shields fragile damage dealers.
Mid-RowGunners, Rocket LaunchersKeep minimal. Mid-row troops take bleed damage quickly; include them only if your officer skills specifically boost them.
BacklineSnipers, Cannons, EMP CannonsAllocate 70%–80% of remaining capacity. Provides primary burst damage to eliminate packs before frontline collapses.

Never send an unshielded backline into battle. If your front line falls below 60% health, treat restoring it as an immediate priority before triggering another fight.

Health Preservation and Medical Tent Timing

Healing stations and consumables must be timed strategically rather than used as soon as they appear.

  • Delay Medical Tents: Medical Tents restore a set percentage of your total wounded troops. If you uncover a tent early while your fleet is at 90% or 95% health, leave it alone. Clear the required monsters on that floor first, then activate the tent immediately before using the stairs to the next floor.
  • Use First Aid Kits Proactively: If an elite mob lands critical damage and drops your frontline low, use First Aid Kits or Bandages from your inventory right away. Allowing a weakened frontline to enter combat causes splash damage to bleed directly into your Snipers and Cannons.
  • Save Revivals for Floor 7+: Floor 7 and above introduce lethal spikes in enemy power. Keep Revival items in reserve to rebuild a wiped front wall during these final stages.

Altar Buffs and Merchant Purchases

Stat upgrades and merchant items scale your combat efficiency against high-tier floor guardians. Spend event coins only on perks that increase kill speed or preserve tank durability.

Buff Priorities at Altars

  1. Offensive Modifiers: Prioritize Long-Range Attack (LRA), Total Attack, and Critical Damage. Defeating zombie squads in fewer rounds prevents unnecessary incoming hits.
  2. Defensive Modifiers: Select Fleet HP and Fleet Defense next to raise the threshold of your frontline shields.
  3. Low-Value Perks: Skip utility bonuses like minor movement speed increases or standard resource caches.

Merchant Purchase Priorities

  • First Aid Kits / Bandages: Buy these whenever available if your frontline has sustained wear.
  • High-Percentage Attack Boosters: Purchase these to stay ahead of late-floor stat scaling.
  • Reconnaissance Radar / Scanners: Use scanners on deep floors to uncover paths and avoid stepping on percentage-based landmines.
  • Revival Items: Buy to protect against unexpected wipes on upper floors.

Floor-by-Floor Progression Rules

Adapt your exploration plan based on the floor tier to maximize currency early and minimize attrition late.

  1. Floors 1 to 3 (Full Clear): Uncover every tile and defeat all standard zombie squads. The enemies on these floors should cause zero meaningful frontline losses. Full clearing maximizes your silver and gold event coin reserves for later shops.
  2. Floors 4 to 6 (Consolidation): Stack matching attack buffs at every altar. Avoid suspicious trap tiles, purchase medical supplies from merchants, and clear required guardian mobs before consuming the floor's Medical Tent.
  3. Floors 7 and Beyond (Objective Rush): Stop full-clearing the grid. Path systematically toward uncovering the floor key and the exit stairs. Engage only the monster packs directly obstructing your route to minimize combat rounds, saving all banked First Aid Kits to keep your tanks topped off for the floor boss.
