For faster gathering progression in Albion Online, focus on the highest-tier resource nodes you can harvest and plan a route through them. Lethal zones can offer more Fame from higher-tier nodes, but you risk losing your gear and carried resources if you die.

Prioritize nodes you can harvest

The draft recommends moving on from tier 2 and tier 3 resources once you can gather tier 4 or higher. Focus on higher-tier nodes, including enchanted ones, rather than spending your route on lower-tier resources.

Black Zones and the Roads of Avalon are suggested as places to look for higher-tier nodes. These are lethal areas, so use them only if you are prepared for the possibility of losing your equipment and cargo. If that risk is not acceptable, gather in safer zones instead.

Plan a compact route

Choose a loop that passes resource clusters instead of crossing the same ground repeatedly. Prioritize available higher-tier nodes, and skip a contested or dangerous node when reaching a quieter cluster is the safer option.

Wear gathering gear for the resource you plan to collect, such as Miner, Lumberjack, or Skinner gear. Carry a mount suited to your trip, and avoid bringing more than you can afford to lose into a lethal zone.
