ALLfiring Relic Guide: Unlocking Slots, Stats, and Elemental Resonance

To equip relics and maximize your team's combat rating in ALLfiring, progress through the main story campaign to unlock equipment sockets, match relic elements to your character's native element for resonance bonuses, and assign primary stats according to each unit's role.

Unlocking Relic Sockets

Relic slots do not open simultaneously. Instead, they unlock gradually as your account level increases and you clear key campaign chapter milestones:

1. Clear main story quests: Pushing through early story chapters opens relic sockets on your character profiles. Leaving these slots locked delays access to flat attribute increases and set bonuses.
2. Inspect character profiles after account level increases: Check your active combat roster whenever your account reaches a new progression threshold.
3. Equip placeholder gear immediately: Equipping low-rarity relics into newly opened slots provides immediate baseline attributes, such as flat Attack, Health, Defense, and elemental damage bonuses, making any equipped piece better than an empty slot.

Selecting Relic Main Stats and Sub-Stats

Every relic has a primary main stat that upgrades automatically with relic levels, alongside secondary sub-stats that unlock and improve as you invest resources. Some relic slots feature fixed primary attributes, while others roll randomized percentage-based stats.

When assigning gear, prioritize pieces whose secondary rolls complement the host unit's primary responsibility:

• Damage Carries: Focus on Critical Rate, Critical Damage, and Attack Percent. Concentrate your highest-tier offensive pieces on your primary carry before distributing gear to secondary units.
• Tanks and Healers: Look for Health, Defense, and Healing Bonus. Healing formulas scale according to specific kit requirements, typically max HP or base Attack.
• Support Units: Prioritize Energy Recharge and Cooldown Reduction so buffers and shielders can cycle their abilities consistently.

How Elemental Resonance Works

Elemental Resonance provides passive attribute multipliers when characters and relics share matching elemental affinities. Equipping relics that align with a character's native element activates resonance nodes, boosting elemental skill damage, reaction efficiency, and status application rates.

• Native Matching: Matching relic elements to the host character applies a percentage multiplier to elemental skill ratios.
• Two-Piece Resonance Sets: Equipping two matching relics from the same elemental set grants a flat percentage increase to elemental damage output or mastery.
• Four-Piece Resonance Sets: Completing a full four-piece set activates combat passives, such as shredding target elemental resistance on critical hits or temporarily boosting damage following an ultimate ability.
• Team Alignment: Synchronizing relic elements across your primary DPS and elemental support units activates squad-wide resonance benefits during combat.

Relic Leveling and Resource Management

Enhancement materials and gold are constrained, so avoid heavy investment into early-game gear:

• Cap low-tier upgrades early: Limit green and blue transitional relics to level 4 or level 8. This provides enough combat rating to clear early milestones without depleting your upgrade materials.
• Farm dedicated domain challenges: Shift enhancement priority to purple and gold relics once specialized domain challenges unlock.
• Recycle outdated gear: You can feed leveled transitional relics into higher-rarity pieces to recover a large portion of the invested experience. However, spent gold is not fully refunded, so only upgrade relics that have an optimal main stat and at least two compatible sub-stats.
