To progress through the early zones in Bit Heroes Quest, build your hero as a dedicated damage dealer by allocating stat points into Power and Agility, recruit and fuse Borlan and Shrampz to handle healing and tanking, and rely on fully upgraded Epic equipment instead of spending rare materials on early Legendary gear.

Allocating Hero Stat Points

Every level-up grants stat points that distribute across three core attributes:

  • Power: Increases the damage of basic attacks and offensive abilities, while also scaling the potency of your outgoing heals.
  • Stamina: Expands your maximum health pool to survive stray hits and unavoidable enemy area-of-effect abilities.
  • Agility: Increases attack speed and turn meter recovery, letting your hero act more frequently in combat.

Spreading points evenly across all three stats weakens your combat output. A balanced build lacks the burst damage required to eliminate dangerous enemy backliners before they cast high-damage skills.

Instead, build a dedicated damage dealer (DPS). Place the majority of your points into Power and Agility. Keep Stamina at the minimum threshold required to survive unavoidable party-wide damage in your current zone. Offloading the defensive burden to a tank familiar lets your hero focus purely on fast wave-clearing.

Fusing Starter Familiars: Borlan and Shrampz

Dungeon progression requires a three-unit team. Instead of relying on low-percentage drops from heroic dungeons, farm the schematics and base monsters needed to fuse two foundational early-game familiars:

  • Borlan (Rare Healer): Fused by combining Merlan and Bob. Borlan uses a low-cost group heal that reliably stabilizes your tank and damage dealer during prolonged boss fights.
  • Shrampz (Epic Tank): Fused by combining Shrump and Grampz. Shrampz possesses high base Stamina and passive redirection or shielding tools that intercept single-target attacks aimed at your fragile hero.

After fusing your first copies, continue farming their base zones for duplicates. Bit Heroes Quest allows you to place duplicate fused familiars into the Familiar Stable. Each deposited copy grants percentage-based stat increases and higher trigger chances to the active unit. A fully stabled (+5) Shrampz and Borlan provide superior performance compared to un-stabled early Legendary familiars and remain viable through multiple zones.

Equipment Upgrades and Tier Management

Equipment strength is defined by its Tier, which corresponds directly to the zone or raid where it dropped. Moving to a new zone introduces a higher gear tier that quickly renders earlier equipment obsolete. Because early tiers pass quickly, upgrading gear requires strict resource management.

Equipment RarityUpgrade ActionPrimary RoleResource Trade-Off
Common / RareUpgrade fully only if stuckProvides fast stats to hit a zone clear thresholdCheap to upgrade; recycle freely when replaced
EpicPrimary target for full upgradesReliable stat foundation for clearing zonesBalanced cost using farmable epic materials
LegendaryAvoid upgrading in early tiersEquip only if un-upgraded stats exceed current gearHeavy gold and rare material sink; slows tier progression

A fully upgraded Epic item generally matches or exceeds the stats of a partially upgraded Legendary item from the same tier at a fraction of the crafting cost. Sinking scarce materials into Tier 1 through Tier 4 Legendaries stalls your progress because that gear is abandoned as soon as the next zone opens. Save rare materials for higher tiers where gear remains equipped for much longer periods.

Daily Resource Routine and Raids

Account progression relies on consistently exhausting regenerative currencies before they cap:

  1. Energy: Run the highest difficulty dungeon you can reliably clear. If your team wipes on Heroic, step down to Hard difficulty to guarantee capture rolls, gold, and completion rewards rather than losing energy on a defeat.
  2. Raid Shards: Spend Raid Shards immediately upon regeneration. Raids offer the highest tier-appropriate gear drops and experience. Use the friend-summon feature to recruit high-level friends or guildmates into your raid team to clear difficulties your hero cannot manage alone.
  3. PvP Badges and Tokens: Spend your PvP Badges and Gauntlet or Trials Tokens continuously to earn steady account experience and rank rewards.

Guild Perks and Server Bonuses

Join an active guild as soon as the feature unlocks. Guild membership provides passive account bonuses, including increased experience gains, higher item find percentages, and improved familiar capture rates. Guilds also give you access to high-level avatars that can be summoned into daily dungeon and raid parties without cost.

Align resource spending with daily rotating server bonuses. Certain days offer multipliers for gold, experience, item find, or familiar capture rates. Save consumable energy refills and speed buffs to use on days featuring bonuses that match your immediate goal, such as burning refills during capture-rate events while farming Borlan or Shrampz components.
