To achieve 100% completion in Castlevania, you must rescue every hidden villager, discover every alternate stage exit, and clear all branching paths on your save file.

Rescuing Hidden Villagers

Rescuing captives is the primary condition for total game completion. Villagers are permanently saved to your profile once freed, so you do not need to repeat a rescue on subsequent playthroughs of a stage.

• Search Breakable Walls: Breakable walls, floors, and ceilings frequently hide passages leading to captive NPCs or essential keys. Strike suspicious environment textures in every room.
• Inspect Empty Rooms: If a section of a level contains no hazards or enemies, treat it as a puzzle room. Hit surrounding structures to reveal hidden chambers.
• Save Progress: Always finish the stage or reach a save point after freeing a villager to confirm your completion percentage increases.

Unlocking Alternate Exits and Stage Branches

Standard level exits only lead down the primary stage path. Unlocking the full map requires hunting for secret exits in non-linear stages.
