To reach the Inverted Castle in Castlevania, collect the Gold Ring and Silver Ring, use them to access the Holy Glasses, then equip the glasses during the fight with Richter. Strike the orb above him instead of defeating him to continue to the Inverted Castle.
Steps to unlock the Inverted Castle
- Find the Gold Ring and Silver Ring in the regular castle.
- Equip both rings in the clock tower area to open the passage to the Holy Glasses.
- Equip the Holy Glasses before confronting Richter.
- During the fight, attack the orb above Richter rather than defeating him.
Defeating Richter without using the Holy Glasses ends the run on the premature ending path. The Inverted Castle becomes accessible after you take the orb route.
