To use the buffed P.E.K.K.A effectively in Clash of Clans, run her as the central tank in a ground smash attack or use a single unit to trim exterior perimeter buildings. Her increased damage and durability allow her to tear down high-health structures quickly, but she still relies on strict funneling, wall-opening support, and targeted spells to avoid stalling out.
P.E.K.K.A Strengths and Critical Threats
The P.E.K.K.A excels at absorbing fire from point defenses like Cannons, Archer Towers, and X-Bows while crushing defensive anchors in very few swings. She is also immune to Spring Traps. However, her slow melee attack speed and ground-only targeting leave her vulnerable to specific defensive setups.
| Defensive Threat | Danger to P.E.K.K.A | Supported Counter |
|---|---|---|
| Single-Target Inferno Tower | Ramping damage burns through her high health pool in seconds | Freeze Spell to reset the beam tier |
| The Monolith | Inflicts percentage-based damage that ignores raw health | Freeze Spell combined with focused ranged fire |
| Clan Castle swarms and Skeleton Traps | Distracts her slow single-target swings indefinitely | Poison Spell and splash support (Bowlers or Super Wizards) |
| High-density wall compartments | AI paths around outer rings instead of entering the core | Log Launcher, Wall Wrecker, Jump, or Earthquake Spells |
How to Execute the P.E.K.K.A Smash
A standard P.E.K.K.A Smash pairs three to four P.E.K.K.As with a pack of Healers, accompanied by ranged splash units like Bowlers, Super Bowlers, or Super Wizards to eliminate defending swarms.
- Establish the outer funnel boundaries: Clear one flank using a Flame Flinger or a Grand Warden walk. Clear the opposite flank with the Barbarian King supported by a single P.E.K.K.A or a small cleanup group.
- Open the entry layer: Use two Super Wall Breakers to crack the outermost wall compartment once both flanks are cleared of trash buildings.
- Deploy the main core push: Send the remaining group of P.E.K.K.As directly between the two cleared flanks toward the base interior. Follow immediately with your ranged damage dealers and your Siege Machine (such as a Log Launcher or Wall Wrecker).
- Attach the Healers: Assign Healers directly to the main P.E.K.K.A pack as they engage the first line of interior defenses.
- Carve the interior path: Use four Earthquake Spells or placed Jump Spells to open inner compartments so the melee squad does not stall against maxed interior walls.
Spell and Ability Timing
Spell precision determines whether your core push punches through or times out against deep defenses:
- Rage Spells: Cast your first Rage Spell as the P.E.K.K.As enter the first major compartment. This boosts their movement speed, amplifies their damage against heavy storages, and increases the healing rate of trailing Healers.
- Freeze Spells: Reserve these specifically for single-target Inferno Towers, the Monolith, or an opposing Royal Champion. Trigger the Freeze before a single-target beam reaches its maximum damage stage.
- Poison Spells: Drop a Poison Spell directly onto defensive Clan Castle troops or emerging Skeleton Traps to eliminate distractions before your P.E.K.K.As waste attack cycles on them.
- Grand Warden Ability: Position the Grand Warden directly behind the central pack. Activate Eternal Tome when the squad enters dense fire zones, such as the Town Hall impact blast or clustered Scattershots, to protect both the frontline tanks and the squishy ranged support.
