Funnel both sides of your entry before deploying the main force. Then send Root Riders in first, followed by Valkyries and your remaining heroes, and use Rage where defenses are concentrated. This sequence gives the army a clearer route into the base, but it does not guarantee a three-star attack.
Deployment sequence
- Pick an entry point with a direct route toward the base’s core.
- Use a small group of troops or your Barbarian King on one side and the Archer Queen on the other to clear nearby buildings and shape the funnel.
- Deploy Root Riders in a broad line at the entry, then send in Valkyries and the remaining heroes.
- Keep the force together where possible. Use Rage as the troops enter dense defensive areas. A Heal or Freeze Spell can support heroes under heavy fire.
Root Riders can break walls as they advance, opening compartments for the troops behind them. A poor funnel can still send the army around the outside, so check that both sides of the entry are cleared before committing the main force.
Adjust the entry when needed
If the route to the core is blocked by deep, isolated compartments, choose a different entry angle. Aim for a path that lets the Root Riders and following troops move inward rather than splitting along the base’s edges.
Root Riders take up troop space, which limits how many Valkyries fit in the army. The supplied guidance does not specify an army size, Town Hall level, or exact spell and equipment setup, so adjust those choices to your available capacity rather than assuming a fixed composition.
