No. In Clash Royale, you do not need to spend a dedicated counter on every enemy troop. Consider letting a minor threat go if the tower damage is manageable and your own push can make the opponent defend. If the incoming threat could cause serious damage, prioritize defending it.

Before ignoring a troop, check whether you have a troop advantage, whether the opponent may be low on elixir or missing a key defensive card, and how much damage you would accept. If you cannot judge those conditions, defend rather than assuming the opponent’s play is harmless.

A counter is not automatically worthwhile just because it matches the enemy card. If a cheaper secondary unit can handle the threat, use it and save your main defensive card for a more dangerous push. But do not spend on an attack instead if the enemy troop poses an immediate threat your tower cannot comfortably absorb.
