For the four Chaos 3.0 modifiers covered here, adjust your play to the rule in effect: prepare area damage for Spawning, use Elixir Rush to build layered pushes, protect every tower in Sudden Death, and assess your hand when your deck is randomized.

Spawning: Prepare for recurring units

The Spawning modifier described here periodically adds troops to the field, creating pressure even when neither player deploys a card. Keep some elixir available to respond, and use area-damage cards to handle groups before they build into a larger push. Avoid committing all your resources to one lane while new units may appear elsewhere.

Elixir Rush: Build pushes instead of spending blindly

Elixir Rush speeds up elixir generation for both players. Use the extra flow to combine a tank with support troops rather than placing expensive cards without a plan. Keep defensive options available, too: faster elixir can help you respond more often, but your opponent benefits from the same increase.

Sudden Death: Treat each tower as an immediate risk

The draft describes Sudden Death as a rule where the match ends as soon as a tower falls. Under that condition, prioritize defending vulnerable towers and watch for the opponent’s available cards before committing to an attack. Chip damage may matter, but it does not outweigh the risk of leaving a tower exposed.

Randomized decks: Find a workable pairing

If Chaos 3.0 gives you a randomized deck, check your hand for cards that can support one another. A tank paired with a splash-damage unit is one example from the draft. If your cards do not form an obvious combination, focus on defending and look for a chance to punish an opponent who overcommits.
