Follow with Skeleton Dragons: If the opponent deploys swarm units to distract your single-target flyers, drop Skeleton Dragons to clear the lane.

Countering Anti-Air Defenses

Inferno Tower and Inferno Dragon: Do not Zap immediately. Wait until the Inferno beam charges to its thickest, maximum-damage stage. Zapping at peak charge buys the most time for your Mega Minion and Flying Machine to destroy the Inferno unit before your Lava Hound falls.
Musketeer, Hunter, and Electro Wizard: Predict defensive placements near the opponent's Princess Tower. Combine Fireball and Zap on top of the defending troop to remove the threat and deal collateral damage to the Crown Tower.

Handling Opposite-Lane Pressure

When you deploy a Lava Hound in the back, opponents often push the opposite lane aggressively. Overcommitting elixir to protect your secondary tower will starve your main offensive push.
