In Diablo Immortal Battlegrounds, keep your attention on the Idol objective rather than chasing kills away from it. Use crowd-control and burst skills when enemies contest the Idol, and regroup instead of diving alone or fighting while low on health.

Stay with the objective

On offense, help clear the way for your team’s Idol. On defense, stay close enough to contest its progress. If teammates split up to chase enemies, regroup near the objective so your team can focus its attention there.

Time your skills around Idol fights

Save powerful crowd-control and burst abilities for fights near the Idol, where they can affect enemies contesting the objective. Avoid spending those skills on an isolated target that does not threaten it.

If your team is being pushed back, do not dive into the enemy group alone. Wait for teammates to engage or for the enemy to use defensive skills before committing your own abilities.

Retreat and regroup when needed

Pull back if your health is low or your main defensive skills are unavailable. Regroup with teammates before trying to contest the Idol again. A retreat gives you a chance to recover and return with your team rather than continuing a scattered fight.
