Diablo Immortal Wing Customization: How to Change Wing Styles

To customize your resonance wings in Diablo Immortal, open your inventory, enter the Cosmetics tab, select your equipped resonance wings, and choose the Customize prompt. You can freely switch your displayed wings to any tier you have already unlocked, test visual color variations, and confirm the changes without spending gold, Platinum, or materials.

The wing customization interface is located within your character inventory and does not require an NPC or quest completion.

Open your player inventory.
Select the Cosmetics tab on the left side of the screen.
Choose the Wings category.
Select the Customize prompt located beneath your equipped resonance wings.

The screen displays your hero in a full preview window. You can rotate your character 360 degrees to verify how particle origins, draping, and idle movement animations align with your current armor and cloaks.

Selecting Unlocked Resonance Tiers

The customization system allows you to display lower-tier wing appearances without losing any gameplay stats. Reaching a higher Resonance milestone permanently preserves access to all preceding wing tiers in your archive.

Downgrading a Tier 3 or Tier 4 wing to Tier 1 or Tier 2 changes only your character's visual silhouette. Your active Resonance, Combat Rating, and character attributes remain identical.

Adjusting Colors and Saving Changes

The right-hand panel of the customization interface displays available colorways and visual styles for unlocked wings.

Selecting an alternative color palette updates the preview model immediately.
Previews are free to test and consume no currencies.
You must tap the confirm button at the bottom of the interface to lock in your appearance. Exiting the menu without confirming reverts your character to its previous style.

Rules and System Limitations

Wing customization operates under several functional boundaries:

Strictly Cosmetic: Customizing wing tiers or color accents does not alter your Combat Rating, Resonance, or secondary stats.
Account Progress Locks: You cannot preview or equip wing models and colorways tied to Resonance thresholds your character has not yet reached.
PvP Profile Inspection: In competitive modes such as Battlegrounds and Rite of Exile, opponents inspecting your character profile still see your actual Resonance value and combat stats, regardless of the cosmetic wing tier you choose to display.
