To summon the featured Umbra Legendary Esper Sieg (Siegfried) in Dislyte, you must spend specialized Ether Discs on his dedicated banner rather than standard Gold Records or Shimmer Records. Before spending, check your disc inventory and save until you hold at least 70 to 100 Ether Discs. Pulling without enough currency to trigger soft or hard pity risks leaving your progress stranded on a temporary banner window.
How Ether Discs and the Umbra Banner Work
The Umbra summoning pool operates entirely separate from the standard summon pool. Ether Discs cannot be converted to or swapped with standard discs, and summons on this banner do not contribute to standard rate-up counters. You can pull individually or in standard batches of 10.
| Feature | Standard Summon Pool | Umbra Summon Pool |
|---|---|---|
| Summon Currency | Gold Records / Nexus Crystals | Ether Discs |
| Featured Elements | Inferno, Wind, Flow | Umbra |
| Rate-Up Focus | Standard / Wishlist Espers | Sieg |
| Pity System | Shared across standard banners | Isolated banner counter |
Pity Thresholds and 100-Pull Expectations
The Umbra banner interface displays a countdown tracker showing the remaining summons required to guarantee a Legendary Esper.
- Pity Reset: Every single or 10-pull reduces the counter by the amount pulled. If you pull an early Legendary Esper before hitting zero, the counter immediately resets to its maximum value.
- Soft Pity: Summon probabilities increase noticeably between pulls 70 and 90, making this range the most common threshold for securing Sieg.
- Hard Pity: If you do not trigger an early drop, reaching the final hard pity count guarantees a Legendary summon.
- Secondary Pull Value: A 100-disc session typically produces 8 to 12 Epic Espers alongside Rare duplicates. These duplicate pulls generate Divine Sound Crystals, skill upgrade resources, and Starimon-equivalent promotion fodder to reinforce your existing squad.
Stockpiling Rules
Do not spend Ether Discs one at a time as you obtain them. Single pulls offer no statistical advantage and expose your account to bad RNG if you fall short of the pity window. Store your Ether Discs until your inventory can guarantee reaching at least the 70-pull soft pity threshold or the hard pity ceiling. If you cannot reach that mark during an active banner, preserve your discs in your inventory for future Umbra rotations.
Deploying Sieg
Once unlocked, Sieg operates under the unique neutral mechanics of the Umbra element:
- Elemental Neutrality: Umbra units bypass the rock-paper-scissors matchup rules governing Inferno, Wind, and Flow. Sieg does not suffer glancing penalties against standard elements, allowing consistent critical hits and debuff application across varied enemy teams.
- Primary Modes: Use Sieg as an offensive anchor in high-difficulty PvE boss encounters and competitive Point War squads.
- Squad Synergy: Pair Sieg with turn-meter AP pushers to secure turn order and defense-down debuffers to amplify his primary damage rotation.
