Mona (Meta Artemis) is an offensive Flow Fighter in Dislyte who combines multi-hit damage sequences with built-in Stealth. To use her effectively, build her for critical strike damage and attack power, rely on Stealth to evade single-target focus fire, and bring allies that provide Action Point (AP) boosts and cleansing against area-of-effect threats.
How Mona (Meta Artemis) Works
Mona gains the divine power of Meta Artemis after passing the Miracle Trials, shifting her playstyle toward sustained flurries and evasive survivability.
- Stealth Defense: While cloaked in Stealth, Mona cannot be targeted by single-target attacks, targeted debuffs, or single-target crowd control. Hostile single-target abilities must redirect to her teammates, allowing Mona to run aggressive damage gear without constant single-target shielding or healing from supports.
- Multi-Hit Offense: Mona's attacks hit several times per action. Each hit calculates its own critical strike chance, smoothing out her damage output over the course of a turn. This multi-strike cadence makes her especially effective at breaking hit-count shields and damage-nullification barriers that require a specific number of impacts to dispel.
- Flow Element Advantage: As a Flow Esper, she deals boosted damage against Inferno-attuned opponents but remains vulnerable to Wind-attuned burst damage.
Recommended Relics and Stat Priorities
Because Stealth shields Mona from direct targeting, her equipment can focus heavily on offensive attributes rather than defensive padding.
Primary Gear Stats
| Gear Slot | Primary Stat | Strategic Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Headphones | Critical Damage | Multiplies the damage scaling of every strike in her multi-hit sequence. |
| Ring | Attack Percentage (ATK%) | Raises her base attack ceiling to push through high-defense targets. |
| Boots | Speed (SPD) or ATK% | Use Speed for turn cycling before enemy controllers act, or ATK% when paired with reliable AP pushers. |
Relic Sets
- Four-Piece Sets: Equip the War Set or Thunder Set to elevate raw burst damage. If you need Mona to take turns faster and refresh her Stealth intervals before wide-area attacks hit, run the Wind Set for bonus turn-gauge cycling.
- Two-Piece Sets: Equip the Fiery Set if you need help reaching the recommended 80% to 100% Critical Rate threshold. If her Critical Rate requirements are satisfied by sub-stats, use the Brawler Set for direct damage scaling or the Avatara Set to counterattack when taking incidental area damage.
Team Synergies and Counters
Mona operates best when paired with supports who secure turn priority and neutralize wide-area hazards:
- AP Pushers and Controllers: Espers such as Tiye, Unas, or Dhalia push Mona up the turn order, letting her strike and enter Stealth before opposing controllers lock her down.
- Attack Buffers: Team-wide Attack Up and Critical Damage Up buffs enhance every strike of her multi-hit attacks.
- Buff Strippers: Teammates who remove enemy immunity and invulnerability barriers ensure Mona's strikes land cleanly on priority targets.
Weaknesses to Avoid
Stealth does not protect Mona from Area-of-Effect (AoE) abilities. Indiscriminate multi-target nukes, wide-area stuns, poisons, and freeze debuffs bypass her cloaking entirely. When drafting Mona or bringing her into high-tier stages, avoid matching her against Wind-element damage dealers or teams packed with wide-area crowd controllers unless you bring a dedicated cleanser or broad immunity buffer.
