To clear Stages 3 and 4 of the Global Campaign 2026 Special Battle without items in DRAGON BALL Z DOKKAN BATTLE, build your team around defensive anchor units, lock your tankiest characters into the first two rotation slots, and push fragile support floaters to the third slot. Because support items are restricted, survival depends on defensive passives, slot management, and timing active skills to eliminate high-damage phases before taking severe damage.

Managing Unit Rotations and Slot Positioning

Success in itemless runs requires controlling character placement every turn to absorb incoming boss attacks safely:

• Slots 1 and 2 (Main Anchors): Place units with permanent or conditional damage reduction, guard, or high dodge chance in these positions. Keep at least two dedicated slot-1 anchors on your team so a reliable tank is present every turn. Units that stack defense on Super Attack should also be kept in main rotations to build durability over time.
• Slot 3 (Floaters): Move support, linking, or fragile utility units to the third slot. Floaters return every three turns, keeping vulnerable characters away from heavy enemy attack sequences while providing team utility.

Roster Defensive Requirements

Before attempting Stages 3 and 4, verify that your team roster meets key sustainability standards:

• Damage Reduction and Guard: Prioritize characters that possess built-in damage reduction (ideally across at least half your team) or guard passives to mitigate boss Super Attacks without items.
• Self-Healing: Include at least two units capable of restoring health through passive transformations, active skills, or Super Attack effects to recover health across turns.
• Type Advantage: Plan your final rotation around the last phase boss to ensure your main tanks carry type resistance against incoming attacks.

Timing Active Skills

Hold active skills for critical turns rather than using them immediately upon availability:

• Phase Skips and Burst Kills: Trigger high-damage active skills when a boss phase reaches low health to finish the enemy before they strike, effectively functioning as a defensive turn skip.
• Disruptive Utility: Use active skills that stun or seal the enemy when your rotation falls out of alignment or when a lower-defense unit is forced to take heavy incoming attacks.
