To stockpile resources for rapid hero leveling in Empires & Puzzles: Match-3 RPG, store your excess food and recruits directly inside your Training Camp queues rather than holding them in your standard storage facilities. Resources queued for hero training are completely protected from player raids and can be refunded at any time.
How to Bank Resources in Training Camps
Instead of allowing food to collect in your base storage where enemy raids can steal it, deposit your food and recruits into high-capacity training queues.
- Open a Training Camp facility in your base.
- Select a long-duration queue program, such as "Extra Low Cost" training.
- Queue as many training cycles as your available food and recruits allow.
- When you need food or recruits to power-level a hero, cancel the required number of queued training cycles to receive an immediate 100% refund of those invested resources.
Benefits of Queue Storage
Using your Training Camps as a resource bank provides key tactical advantages:
- Raid Immunity: Opponents who defeat your base in Raids can steal food stored in your Food Storage buildings. Resources locked inside a Training Camp queue cannot be targeted or stolen.
- Bypassing Storage Limits: Food tied up in training queues does not count toward your Food Storage cap. This lets you hold assets well beyond your base's standard storage capacity.
- On-Demand Liquidity: Canceling training returns resources instantly, giving you full control over when to release food and recruits for targeted hero growth.
Strategic Queue Management and Trade-offs
To keep your resource pipeline reliable, pull assets out of your queues only when actively upgrading heroes.
| Feature | In Storage Buildings | In Training Camp Queues |
|---|---|---|
| Raid Protection | Vulnerable to theft | 100% safe from raids |
| Capacity Cap | Limited by building level | Expands based on queued tasks |
| Iron Storage | Stores Iron up to capacity | Cannot store or protect Iron |
| Refund Penalty | N/A | None (100% refund on cancellation) |
Important Constraints
- Iron Exclusions: Training Camps store only food and recruits. Iron must still be managed separately through construction projects and Iron Storage upgrades.
- Production vs. Storage: Queuing resources does not produce extra assets. If you consistently lack the food needed to fill your queues, focus your next upgrades on your Farms and Food Storage facilities to raise your baseline output and storage limits.

I wish I had read this before upgrading the wrong thing.
This saved me time in the early game.
Can you add more details about heroes in a future update?
The explanation is clear, especially for beginners.
