To level newly acquired heroes quickly in Empires & Puzzles: Match-3 RPG, bank your surplus food and recruits inside a level 20 Training Camp (TC20) queue, then cancel those queued slots on demand to generate feeder heroes immediately. This strategy requires a base upgraded to Stronghold 20 and at least one fully leveled TC20.
How the TC20 Banking Method Works
Standard storage buildings leave surplus food vulnerable to enemy Raids. However, resources deposited into Training Camp queues cannot be plundered by other players. Because Training Camp level 20 (Legendary training) requires 100 recruits, roughly 300,000 food, and 48 hours per training cycle, it allows you to store massive quantities of assets in a single building.
Empires & Puzzles: Match-3 RPG allows risk-free cancellation of incomplete training queues:
- Depositing: When farming or resource buildings push your recruit or food bars near their caps, add cycles to your TC20 queue.
- Withdrawing: When you summon a hero you want to level immediately, open your TC20 and tap the minus button on the queue.
- Full Refund: Each canceled cycle instantly refunds 100% of the invested cost (100 recruits and the associated food) directly back to your active inventory.
- Storage Warning: Check your Recruit House and Food Storage caps before canceling. Any resources that exceed your maximum capacity will be lost.
Converting Withdrawn Supplies into Feeder Heroes
Banked recruits and food must be transformed into one-star and two-star feeder heroes to level your characters. Depending on your stockpiled crafting materials, use a separate, lower-level Training Camp to process your withdrawn supplies.
| Training Camp Mode | Production Time | Materials Required | Primary Function |
|---|---|---|---|
| TC20 (Legendary) | 48 Hours | Food, Recruits | Long-term bank; protects food and recruits from Raids |
| TC19 (Extra Fast) | 1 Minute | Rugged Clothes, Food, Recruits | Rapid power-leveling; produces one-star heroes every minute |
| TC2 (Uncommon) | 30 Minutes | Adventure Packs (Backpacks), Food, Recruits | Balanced leveling; produces one-star and two-star heroes |
| TC11 (Extra Low Cost) | 2 Hours | Recruits, Minimal Food | Efficient recruit storage when food reserves are low |
The TC19 Sprint
If you have accumulated thousands of Rugged Clothes from regular map farming, switch an active camp to TC19. This mode outputs a one-star hero every 60 seconds. While the rapid food consumption is high, your TC20 withdrawals cover the expense, allowing you to generate dozens of feeders within an hour.
The TC2 Backpack Approach
When Rugged Clothes run low, or when you want higher experience value per feeder hero, switch to TC2 using Adventure Packs (Backpacks). TC2 takes 30 minutes per hero and produces both one-star and two-star heroes. Two-star heroes provide greater experience per unit fed, helping to control per-feed food costs at higher hero ascension tiers.
Best Practices for Feeding and Ascension
Once feeders fill your roster, follow these rules to maximize efficiency:
- Match Element Colors: Feed heroes ten at a time using feeders of the same color element whenever possible. Matching colors grants a 20% experience bonus, reducing the total feeder and food requirement to reach maximum level.
- Raise Special Skill Early: Feeding batches of ten heroes boosts the chance of upgrading the hero's Special Skill. Two-star heroes provide twice the skill upgrade chance of one-star heroes. Maximize the skill to 8/8 before hitting final ascension caps to avoid having to feed heroes solely for skill points later.
- Check Unfarmable Ascension Materials First: Hero levels increase stats, but tier thresholds require rare materials such as Damascus Blades, Poison Darts, or Mystic Rings. Confirm you have the necessary ascension items in your inventory before liquidating your entire TC20 bank for a specific character.

Good guide for Empires & Puzzles: Match-3 RPG players. The heroes part was useful.
I tried this today and it worked better than my old setup.
Can you add more details about heroes in a future update?
I wish I had read this before upgrading the wrong thing.
