In Empires & Puzzles: Match-3 RPG, Trophy Road provides fixed, one-time reward payouts as you hit lifetime peak trophy milestones across PvP Raid arenas. You do not lose access to claimed milestones if your cups drop after a defensive loss, making it optimal to push your trophy count as high as possible into Platinum and Diamond to collect high-tier ascension items and emblems.
How Trophy Road Rewards Work
Unlike recurring Raid Wanted Chests that require defeating 40 heroes on a 12-hour timer, Trophy Road measures your peak trophy milestones. Crossing a threshold immediately unlocks its reward crate in the progression menu.
| Arena Tier | Trophy Range | Key Milestone Payouts |
|---|---|---|
| Bronze & Silver | 0β1,199 Cups | Common Summon Tokens, gems, minor food and iron bundles |
| Gold | 1,200β1,799 Cups | Epic Troop Tokens, Trainer Heroes, 3-star ascension materials |
| Platinum | 1,800β2,399 Cups | Class Emblems, Epic Hero Tokens, high-tier Trainer Heroes |
| Diamond | 2,400+ Cups | Rare Ascension Materials (such as Mystic Rings, Darts, Telescopes, Damascus Blades), Master Emblems, gem caches |
Because rare five-star ascension materials are the primary progression bottleneck, pushing through Platinum into Diamond yields the most significant account upgrades.
Offensive Tactics to Push Trophy Milestones
Reaching higher arenas requires tailored offensive raiding setups rather than balanced rainbow teams:
- Stack Elements Against the Tank: Deploy 3-2 or mono (5-0) color setups targeted at the defending center hero's elemental weakness. Matching tiles into an opposing tank with stacked elements can defeat it within three turns, creating an open ghosting lane to charge your mana.
- Prioritize Mana Control: Field heroes with mana cut, silence, or mindless attack abilities. Stopping enemy special skills prevents burst damage and revives before they occur.
- Bring Dispel and Cleanse: High-tier defenses rely heavily on taunts, counterattacks, and defense ailments. Carry at least one fast-speed cleanser and one dispeller to strip enemy buffs and maintain tempo.
- Reroll Matchups with Food: Spend food reserves to reroll defenses until you find favorable team compositions offering gains of 30 or more trophies per win. Avoid heavily mismatched team power ratings when your flags are limited.
Defensive Setup to Protect Cup Progress
While unlocked Trophy Road rewards are permanent, maintaining a resilient defense prevents rapid trophy drops between active play sessions and saves your Raid Energy flags:
- Tank Position (Center): Place your highest-defense hero or a durable reviver here to absorb the majority of board damage.
- Flank Positions (Inner Left and Right): Use utility supports, healers, or mana accelerators that benefit from the tank soaking early matches.
- Wing Positions (Outer Left and Right): Place fast-speed snipers or high-damage finishers who can survive into the late game and pick off weakened attackers.
- Alternative Options: If you lack premier defensive meta heroes, deploy summoners with high-durability minions, counterattack casters, or heroes with prolonged damage-over-time effects to punish unfavorable attacking boards.
Managing Raid Energy and Food
Raid Energy generates at a rate of one flag every hour, capped at six flags total. Space out your pushes so you enter a raiding window with a full set of six flags, and keep banked food available in your base storage or training camps to fund defensive rerolls. Push aggressively toward the next numerical reward tier during an active session, claim your crate, and invest the resulting materials directly into ascending and emblem-leveling your core attack roster.
