To increase your Battle Rating (BR) quickly in Era of Celestials, distribute your enhancement materials evenly across all equipment slots to trigger resonance bonuses, fuse gems to fill every available socket, smelt unwanted gear for permanent stats, and invest upgrade items across your entire roster of Sprites and Mounts.
Balance Equipment Enhancement for Resonance Bonuses
Spreading enhancement stones evenly across all equipped items yields more combat power than over-investing in a single weapon. Era of Celestials uses an enhancement resonance system that awards team-wide bonus pools of Attack, Defense, and maximum Health whenever every equipped item reaches a shared milestone, such as all items reaching +5 or +10.
Higher enhancement levels on a single piece require exponentially more gold and upgrade stones while carrying steeper cost curves. Keeping your helmet, armor, greaves, boots, and secondary gear synchronized at the same tier unlocks resonance milestones at a much lower material cost. Upgrade all slots together before pushing any individual item toward the next milestone.
Socket and Fuse High-Tier Gems
Socketing gems directly modifies your core attributes, raising performance in boss fights and arena matches. Open gem sockets unlock as your character rank and equipment tiers increase. Never leave unlocked slots empty.
| Gem Type | Primary Attribute | Tactical Role |
|---|---|---|
| Ruby | Attack (ATK) | Increases raw damage output |
| Sapphire | Health (HP) | Raises maximum survivability |
| Emerald | Defense (DEF) | Mitigates incoming physical and magic damage |
| Diamond | Critical / Pierce | Improves defense penetration |
Combine excess low-tier gems using the gem synthesis menu. Fusing three identical gems creates a higher-rank gem with concentrated attribute bonuses, allowing you to get the highest possible stats from limited gear sockets. When equipping newly farmed gear from boss drops, verify that your existing gems migrate or are manually re-slotted into the new pieces.
Smelt Surplus Equipment for Permanent Stats
Do not sell surplus equipment to vendors for regular gold. Feeding common, uncommon, and outdated rare drops into the smelting menu converts unwanted inventory into permanent smelting levels. Each level increases your base Health, Attack, and Critical Resistance.
- Batch smelt regularly: Open the smelting tab and run a mass smelt after completing dungeon sweeps or boss farming runs.
- Lock critical gear: Mark valuable tradeable drops, guild storage gear, and alternate equipment sets as locked before smelting to prevent accidental conversion.
Upgrade Inactive Sprites and Mounts
Mounts and Sprites grant passive combat attributes to your character permanently, regardless of whether they are actively deployed or summoned on screen. Do not hoard growth materials exclusively for late-game companions; early-tier upgrades require fewer resources and yield immediate stat returns.
- Infuse Sprite Essence: Feed duplicate shards and Sprite Essence into your companion collection to raise star ratings and activate hero stat auras.
- Equip Sprite Skill Books: Socket skill books onto your primary active Sprite to gain defensive shields, crowd control, or healing during combat.
- Train Mounts: Apply Mount Upgrade Stones evenly to push star ranks. Evolving a mount to the next tier unlocks cosmetic variations and additional passive attribute pools that add directly to your Battle Rating.
Awaken Elysians and Level Transformation Skills
The Elysian transformation system provides temporary burst damage during combat while passively scaling your hero's baseline attributes outside of transformation.
Collect Elysian Shards from scheduled events, elite instances, and world bosses to unlock new forms and promote their star ranks. Spend skill materials first on the offensive skills of your primary Elysian form to clear bosses faster, then distribute remaining resources across secondary forms to secure their passive Battle Rating bonuses.
