To survive and win large-scale nullsec supercapital escalations in EVE Echoes, jump your capital ships onto offset cynosural beacons, stagger Force Auxiliary (FAX) triage cycles, and focus fire on hostile logistics before attacking heavy combat hulls. Dropping Titans and Supercarriers directly onto an unverified grid invites immediate bumping, capacitor depletion, and rapid fleet wipes.

Cynosural Drops and Grid Spacing

Supercapitals arrive on grid with depleted capacitor, zero lateral momentum, and jump fatigue. Fleet commanders must scout hostile counter-escalation capacity and bait defensive cooldowns using sub-capitals and standard Dreadnoughts before lighting a jump beacon.

Never light a cyno directly on top of hostile blobs or inside existing warp disruption bubbles. Bumping against friendly or enemy hulls scatters capital ships out of remote-repair range and prevents anchor cohesion. Position jump beacons 50 to 70 kilometers away from the main hostile force along pre-aligned vectors. This allows Supercarriers and Titans to establish an anchor, deploy strike fighters, and receive coordinated repairs immediately.

Target Calling Sequence

Splitting damage across multiple reinforced hulls allows enemy logistics to cycle modules and hold the grid. Fleet commanders must call unified primary targets and synchronize volleys across all capital turrets, missile batteries, and fighter squadrons.

Follow this target destruction sequence during a drop:

  1. Exposed Force Auxiliary Ships: Target active FAX hulls first. Breaking the enemy's logistics core prevents them from sustaining damage across the rest of their capital line.
  2. Overextended Dreadnoughts: Shift fire to Dreadnoughts in siege mode once enemy triage falters. Eliminating them removes the enemy's primary high-damage threat against your capital hulls.
  3. Supercarriers and Titans: Engage hostile supercapitals only after their logistics and secondary damage wings are broken, allowing your fleet to deplete their massive hit point pools without external repair interference.

Force Auxiliary Triage Management

Force Auxiliary logistics provide the repair output necessary to keep Titans and Supercarriers alive under concentrated fire. Activating triage mode massively boosts a FAX's local repair power and sensor strength, but it completely immobilizes the ship and prevents it from receiving remote repairs or capacitor transfers from allied logistics.

To prevent an operational collapse, organize FAX pilots into staggered squads:

  • Active Squad: Enters triage mode to stabilize focused allied targets while consuming heavy capacitor booster charges.
  • Reserve Squad: Remains mobile outside triage mode, transferring capacitor to sustain ships and positioning to cycle their own triage modules the moment the active squad finishes.

Position logistics wings 20 to 30 kilometers behind the primary supercapital anchor. This keeps support ships outside the optimal tracking and brawling ranges of hostile Dreadnoughts while preserving incoming repair ranges.

Tackle Clearing and Extraction

Extracting capital assets from a losing or compromised grid requires systematic bubble removal. Supercapitals align slowly and carry massive signature radiuses, making panic warps inside overlapping warp disruption fields fatal.

Direct all surviving sub-capital support and light fighter wings to destroy hostile Interdictors and heavy tackle cruisers maintaining warp disruption bubbles. Once egress lanes clear, align the supercapital core toward an emergency exit cyno and jump. If individual Dreadnoughts or sub-capitals remain trapped or siege-locked under heavy tackle, cut losses and extract the supercapital fleet immediately to preserve strategic alliance assets.
