To reach a 1 million score in Evil Lands' Snowshard Keep map challenge, run a continuous circular circuit through the keep with an agile Assassin, clustering multiple packs to burst them down with area-of-effect skills while dodging elite crowd control.
Snowshard Keep concentrates high-tier elites, mini-bosses, and dense clusters of icy monsters into castle halls and courtyards. Reaching the 1M milestone requires continuous kills to sustain scoring speed while preventing deaths that wipe buffs and reset positioning.
Continuous Circuit Route
To minimize downtime and avoid dead corridors, follow a looping route so cleared rooms respawn by the time you circle back:
- Outer Gatehouse and Courtyard: Group outward packs together and clear them near the center.
- Grand Hall: Enter through the main archway to engage concentrated elite spawns.
- Connecting Battlements: Sweep through the elevated corridors without turning into dead-end annexes.
- Secondary Stairs: Descend the stairwell to return directly to the courtyard, where the first packs will begin respawning.
Never backtrack through cleared halls or chase isolated standard enemies that wander away from the group. Finishing the bulk of a cluster and moving forward maintains your point velocity.
Assassin Engagement and Skill Priority
Because the Assassin relies on burst damage rather than raw defense, pack engagements require a strict combat sequence:
- Initiation: Use a closing strike or mobility skill to jump directly onto ranged monsters or frost casters first.
- Core Burst: Trigger your primary area slash or cleave as melee enemies group around your landing point, wiping out standard guards and softening elites.
- Execution: Finish off remaining elite champions with single-target strikes to secure their high point values, then immediately sprint to the next pack.
Elite Hazard Mitigation
Snowshard Keep features dangerous frost pools, slow effects, and heavy melee cleaves that can chain-stun or kill an Assassin. Avoid face-tanking damage by actively dodging through enemy attacks.
| Hazard Type | Threat to Assassin | Tactical Response |
|---|---|---|
| Icy Ground / Frost Pools | High movement penalty | Kite groups along corridor perimeters; do not fight standing still. |
| Heavy Elite Cleaves | Fatal frontal burst | Dodge or roll through the elite's model to attack from behind. |
| Ranged Projectile Volleys | Moderate disruption | Target and eliminate ranged casters before engaging melee bruisers. |
Conserve mobility cooldowns and stamina specifically for dodging telegraphed frontal slams and unblockable elite windups.
Pacing the 1M Score Push
Break the challenge into four 250,000-point benchmarks to sustain tempo and avoid misplays:
- 0 to 250,000 Points: Establish your rhythm. Focus on clean pulls, learn elite attack animations, and warm up dodge timings.
- 250,000 to 500,000 Points: Lock in your continuous loop. Time your route so packs respawn right as you re-enter each section.
- 500,000 to 750,000 Points: Maintain pull discipline. Do not over-pull multi-elite rooms to rush progress; prioritize frost casters to avoid crowd-control chains.
- 750,000 to 1,000,000 Points: Use offensive cooldowns aggressively against grand hall elite clusters to close out the remaining points.
