To add a friend in Evil Lands, interact directly with an active player in your map instance or tap their name in the chat log, then send an invite through their profile context menu. Once the other player accepts the request in their social tab, both players can issue direct party invites to run cooperative quests and farm together.
Sending a Friend Request
Evil Lands connects players across dynamic, instanced maps. You do not search an offline account registry or enter external lobby codes. Instead, send requests directly through the game client using either of two methods:
Method 1: Target a Player in Your Map
- Approach an allied player in any shared zone.
- Tap the character model or their overhead health bar.
- In the pop-up window showing their name, class, and level, select the player interaction icon (an inspect or person-plus icon).
- Tap the friend request button to send your invite.
Method 2: Select a Player Through Chat
- Open the chat overlay on your screen.
- Scroll through regional or global messages to find the player's message.
- Tap their avatar or username to open their profile context menu.
- Select the friend request option to dispatch the invitation immediately, even if the player is elsewhere on the map.
Accepting Requests and Managing the Social Menu
Incoming friend invites do not automatically take over your screen during combat. The recipient must manually confirm the connection in the social hub.
To check and accept pending invites:
- Tap the menu gear or social hub icon located at the top of the interface.
- Open the Friends tab.
- Check the Pending Requests section for a numerical notification badge.
- Select the checkmark next to the sender's name to confirm the friendship.
| Menu Section | Primary Function | Available Actions |
|---|---|---|
| Friends List | Displays confirmed friends and online availability | Send party invites or view profiles |
| Pending Requests | Stores incoming friend invitations from other adventurers | Accept or decline requests |
| Nearby Players | Lists active heroes currently populated in your map instance | Inspect profiles, message, or send invites |
| Blacklist / Block | Mutes disruptive players and prevents incoming spam | Block or unblock accounts |
Inviting Friends to a Party
After confirming mutual friendship, you can bypass public matchmaking queues and group up directly:
- Open your Friends List from the social menu while loaded into an active map.
- Locate an online friend and tap their entry.
- Select the party invite option.
- When your friend receives the prompt, they can accept to warp into your session or form a cooperative group.
Teaming up enables shared encounter participation, line-of-sight mini-map tracking, and faster clear times against difficult map bosses.
Group Constraints and Troubleshooting
- Map Unlock Prerequisites: Evil Lands tracks progression per hero slot. A high-level hero cannot bring an ally into advanced zones unless the lower-level player has unlocked the required travel waypoint and completed prerequisite map stages.
- Instance Capacity Limits: If your current map channel is completely full, the game client will block incoming jump requests. To resolve this, reform the group or have the party leader move to a less populated channel before resending invites.
- Roster Caps: Roster space is limited. If you cannot add new players, open your friends list, review the offline timers, and remove inactive accounts to make room.

Good guide for Evil Lands players. The strategy part was useful.
This saved me time in the early game.
Nice guide. I am checking the other Evil Lands articles next.
I wish I had read this before upgrading the wrong thing.
