To win matches in the Go Go! My Lord Passion Cup football event, specialize your five starting players by concentrating attribute points rather than balancing them evenly. For each starter, allocate 25 points into their primary attribute and 18 points into their secondary attribute, leaving the remaining two stats at their 5-point base values. Match each role with position-specific passive skills, and reserve your three bench spots for outfield stamina substitutions.

Stat Allocation by Position

Players have four attributes: Shooting, Technique, Speed, and Defense. Assign points according to the tactical requirements of each field position:

PositionPrimary Stat (25 Pts)Secondary Stat (18 Pts)Base Stats (5 Pts)Tactical Role
ForwardShootingSpeedTechnique, DefenseFinishing inside the penalty area
MidfielderTechniqueSpeedShooting, DefenseFlank dribbling, ball retention, and passing
DefenderDefenseTechniqueShooting, SpeedStealing the ball and making clearance passes
GoalkeeperDefenseTechniqueShooting, SpeedShot stopping and long distribution

Offensive Stat Priorities

  • Forward (Center Attack): Maximize Shooting to overcome the opposing goalkeeper's save threshold inside the penalty box. Place the remaining 18 points into Speed so your forward can break away from defenders onto through passes.
  • Midfielders (Top & Bottom Wings): Maximize Technique, followed by Speed. Technique dictates passing accuracy as well as ball retention against defensive tackles. High-Technique wingers maintain possession along the sidelines, deliver clean passes to the center, or cut inside to shoot when the forward is covered.

Defensive Stat Priorities

  • Defender (Center Back): Maximize Defense, followed by Technique. High Defense increases tackle and steal success rates. Technique provides the passing precision required to transition out of the backline without immediately turning the ball over.
  • Goalkeeper (Goal Line): Maximize Defense to boost base save rates. Allocate the secondary 18 points to Technique to ensure accurate long outlet throws after securing saves.

Each player can equip three passive skills that trigger during the match.

Forward

  • Sprint / Speed Burst: Grants +20% movement speed while dribbling to outrun chasing defenders.
  • Volley / Fierce Shot: Adds +15% shot power on scoring attempts.
  • Skill Consideration (Long Shot): Offers a 35% chance to attempt a mid-range shot with +10% shooting power. Use this only on full auto-play; manual players should avoid it because automated long-range shots from outside the box are routinely saved by opposing goalkeepers.

Midfielder

  • Thread the Needle / Through Pass: Adds +15% passing accuracy to feed forwards cleanly.
  • Magnetic Control: Grants +15% dribble retention to resist defensive steals along the sideline.
  • Sprint / Speed Burst: Adds +20% movement speed while dribbling down the wings.

Defender

  • Slide Tackle: Adds +15% tackle success rate when challenging ball carriers.
  • Preemptive Interception: Expands interception range by +20% to cut off through balls.
  • Through Pass: Adds +15% passing accuracy to initiate counterattacks immediately after regaining possession.

Goalkeeper

  • Diving Save: Grants +15% save success rate against incoming shots.
  • High-Speed Reaction: Decreases post-save recovery cooldown by 20%, which is essential against rapid rebounds in the box.
  • Long Throw Offense: Adds +20% pass accuracy on long clearance throws upfield.

Bench Setup and Halftime Substitutions

Running, tackling, and shooting continuously drain player Stamina. When a player's stamina drops below 60 (indicated by a yellow bar), they incur a flat 20% reduction across all attributes, resulting in slower movement and frequent turnovers.

Manage your roster with the following bench rules:

  1. Bench Composition: Fill your three bench spots with one Forward, one Midfielder, and one Defender. Build each substitute using the exact stat and skill templates assigned to your starters.
  2. Do Not Bench a Goalkeeper: Goalkeepers expend minimal stamina across a standard match, making a backup goalkeeper an inefficient use of limited bench space.
  3. Halftime Action: Check your lineup at halftime and replace your three most exhausted outfield starters with your fresh substitutes.

Scoring Execution and Match Rewards

When manually directing play, do not shoot from outside the penalty area. Advance the ball by dribbling or passing until your forward or midfielder is deep inside the penalty box directly in front of the net before pressing Shoot.
