To clear the MARIA-n story event in GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE, spend your daily stage attempts on sequenced narrative and combat nodes, field a balanced squad capable of 20-second Full Burst rotations, and spend earned event currency on high-tier gacha vouchers and skill manuals.

Daily Progression and Story Access

The MARIA-n event unlocks after clearing early campaign stages. It presents a fully voiced prequel centered on Marian's initial deployment as a data-gathering unit.

  • Daily Attempt Limit: Event entries replenish at the daily server reset. Unused daily attempts do not accumulate indefinitely, so clear your available entries each day to avoid losing currency.
  • Audio Packages: Because this event includes full voice acting, verify in your game settings that your chosen language pack (English, Korean, or Japanese) is fully downloaded and volume levels are balanced.
  • Cutscene Archives: If you skip dialogue to speed up farming, all unlocked cutscenes are permanently archived. You can rewatch them with full voice acting at any time via the Command Center's Recollection menu in your Outpost.

Combat stages feature mixed waves of ground and airborne Raptures on tight timers. Teams reliant solely on single-target boss killers often run out of time. Build around either a standard 1-1-3 formation or a 2-1-2 formation using 20-second cooldown units to trigger Full Burst as each new wave appears.

Squad SlotRole FocusRecommended Weapon TypesPrimary Tactical Responsibility
Burst ICooldown Reduction / ATK BuffSubmachine Gun, Sniper RifleKeep Full Burst cycling every 20 seconds; buff squad damage output.
Burst IIDefense Shred / Shield SupportShotgun, Rocket LauncherGroup clusters, break target shields, and protect squad health.
Burst III (Flex)Broad Screen-Clear DPSMachine Gun, Assault RifleWipe out swarms immediately when entering Full Burst.
Burst III (Flex)Single-Target Elite EliminationSniper Rifle, Assault RifleBurn down elite Raptures before defensive cover breaks.
Burst III / FlexSustained Mob SuppressionMachine Gun, Rocket LauncherMaintain steady fire during Burst downtime between rotations.

If you use a 40-second Burst I or Burst II unit, you must run a second activator in that tier. Running a solo 40-second unit stalls your rotation, leaving your squad exposed to enemy fire. Place your widest-reaching Burst III screen-wiper in the leftmost slot so auto-burst activates that skill first during swarm phases.

Event Shop Priority

Spend your event currency throughout the event window. Avoid purchasing entry refreshes with gems on normal stages unless you started late and need to reach the shop thresholds. If refreshing, use bonus attempts exclusively on the highest repeatable stage your squad can clear reliably.

  1. High Priority (Immediate Purchases):
  • Advanced Recruit Vouchers and Recruit Vouchers: These directly support recruitment banner pity and roster growth.
  • Skill Manuals and Burst Manuals: These provide guaranteed, deterministic skill upgrades for your core squad.
  1. Medium Priority (Progression Materials):
  • Core Dust Cases: Core Dust becomes the primary progression bottleneck past Nikke level 200.
  • Custom Modules: Critical for high-level equipment optimization.
  1. Low Priority (Surplus Resources):
  • Credit Cases and Battle Data Sets: Battle Data and Credits provide diminishing returns past level 100 compared to skill materials and vouchers. Purchase these only after clearing the higher-priority tiers.
