To unlock the hidden completion tier in the Toy Hunt Adventure event in Gossip Harbor®: Merge & Story, you must finish every milestone on the standard event track. Completing the final standard node automatically converts the event board into a secondary bonus lap featuring higher point requirements and premium rewards, including high-rarity card packs, large gem bundles, and 100-energy containers.
Because the bonus lap shares the main event countdown, clear the standard track with at least one-third of the total event time remaining to absorb the increased point curve without running out of resources.
Unlocking the Bonus Completion Track
The Toy Hunt Adventure generates event points when you merge items and fulfill customer orders on your main restaurant board. The standard progression path awards baseline resources such as coins, small energy chests, and low-tier card packs.
Once you submit the points required for the final standard reward, the interface transitions into the secondary track:
- Point scaling: Required points per node increase sharply compared to earlier milestones, requiring significantly more energy per unlock.
- Prize composition: The hidden tier replaces base currency and minor drops with concentrated payouts of 4-star and 5-star card packs, gem bundles, and full 100-energy containers.
- Shared timer: The bonus round does not grant extra time. If you reach this phase with fewer than 12 to 24 hours left, finishing the track requires heavy stored resources or premium currency.
Board Setup and Order Priority
Event points scale with the complexity of customer orders. While low-tier orders advance early milestones steadily, the bonus track requires high-tier completions to generate meaningful progress.
| Progression Phase | Primary Order Strategy | Inventory and Space Focus | Energy and Booster Use |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard Track | Low-to-mid orders for steady milestone progression | Store temporary energy boxes and excess drops | Natural energy regeneration and casual cooldowns |
| Hidden Track | High-tier, complex recipe orders for large point bursts | Reserve slots strictly for primary producer parts | Saved energy chests, ad speed-ups, and daily gem refills |
Keep at least six to eight board tiles clear at all times. Avoid building multiple high-tier lines simultaneously, such as advanced seafood and complex coffee recipes on the same board. Focus on one high-level order at a time while using secondary orders to clear low-level clutter and prevent board lockouts.
Energy Management and Gem Budgeting
Natural energy regeneration cannot support both the main track and the bonus track. Budget your energy reserves and gem purchases around the final lap:
- Buy low-cost refills daily: Purchase the 10-gem and 20-gem daily energy refills while the event is active. Stop before purchasing 40-gem refills unless you are within reach of the final hidden reward before the timer expires.
- Hold saved energy containers: Keep stored energy boxes from your inbox and seasonal reward chests sealed during early tiers. Open them only after unlocking the hidden track to handle its higher point requirements.
- Stack active events: Align your merging runs with concurrent side events, such as coin rush challenges. Completing orders during overlapping events lets single merge sequences progress multiple reward tracks at once.
When to Pursue Full Completion
Targeting the hidden completion tier is most valuable when you need high-rarity cards to complete active seasonal albums. If your card collection lacks 4-star and 5-star cards needed to unlock album jackpots, the guaranteed packs in the bonus round justify the high energy cost. If the active album season is ending and you remain far from completing your card sets, stop after claiming the final standard milestone to preserve your banked energy and gems for future events.

I wish I had read this before upgrading the wrong thing.
I tried this today and it worked better than my old setup.
This helped me understand strategy much better.
The explanation is clear, especially for beginners.
