Before investing resources in Isaac, check your main damage dealers. Build Isaac only if your lineup relies on physical damage dealers, such as Ginger. If your team centers on magic damage dealers like Iris, skip Isaac entirely, as his kit provides no armor penetration or synergy for magic-focused compositions.

Investment Priorities

Isaac functions strictly as a physical support hero rather than a primary damage carry. Allocate your resources to maximize his utility and survival in the following order:

1. Max the Artifact Weapon First

Isaac’s primary role is to strip enemy armor so your physical carries can deal maximum damage. Upgrading his Artifact Weapon increases the strength of his armor penetration buff across the team. Neglecting this weapon removes his core utility in Arena and Guild War modes.

2. Upgrade the Armor Skin Second

Once his Artifact Weapon is secured, invest in Isaac’s Armor Skin. Isaac lacks natural durability and can be eliminated quickly by high-burst assassins before completing his skill rotations. Strengthening his Armor Skin provides the survivability required to survive long-duration fights. Do not pivot to offensive stats on Isaac until his defense is stable.

Team Lineup and Formation Rules

To maximize Isaac’s impact in battle, place him according to his team role and physical synergies:

• Pair with Physical Carries: Deploy Isaac alongside high-output physical attackers who capitalize directly on his armor shredding and disruption drones.
• Avoid Magic Lineups: Keep Isaac out of hybrid or spellcasting lineups, as his buffs do not scale or assist magic penetration.
