The supplied source presents Desire as a theory connecting Elation and Greed, not as a confirmed new Path or gameplay change in Honkai: Star Rail. Treat claims about future characters, mechanics, or meta shifts as speculation.
The source title also names Aha, Ouroboros, the Aeon of Balance, Akivili, and the gods of Pegana as part of its lore discussion. Its description characterizes Desire as a new fate born from Elation and Greed and associates it with Anrimayu.
That establishes the topic of the theory, but not whether Desire is an official Path, what its rules would be, or whether it will affect playable characters. The supplied material does not provide evidence for those conclusions.
If you’re following this lore discussion, keep Desire in the theory category unless the game itself confirms more. Don’t use it as a basis for pull plans or predictions about character kits.
