To consistently clear Bonus Stages in Idle Slayer: Addictive Clicker, master jump buffering across narrow platforms, hold jump inputs for wide gaps, and toggle off lethal Divinity modifiers until your platforming rhythm is consistent. Completing Section 4 yields the stage's primary reward cache, including rare materials, large Slayer Point sums, and Armory chest chances.

Jump Controls and Buffering Mechanics

Platforming consistency depends on distinguishing tap duration and buffering landings:

  • Short Taps: Lightly tapping the screen produces a low hop. Use this to clear single-tile gaps or navigate underneath low-hanging obstacles without over-jumping.
  • Held Jumps: Holding your tap extends vertical hang time and horizontal distance. This is required for crossing wide chasms and reaching elevated ledges, but holding too long risks hitting overhead hazard tracks.
  • Jump Buffering: Press and hold the screen immediately before landing on a platform. Your character will jump on the exact frame of contact. This eliminates ground deceleration, maintains forward momentum, and prevents sliding off short pillars.

Section-by-Section Route Strategies

Each Bonus Stage features four sequential sections that escalate in difficulty:

  1. Section 1 and Section 2: These early stages act as basic timing checks. Stick to the middle-tier platforms. Chasing stray coins on lower routes frequently causes runs to fail due to sudden drops or blind bottomless pits.
  2. Section 3: Gaps widen and vertical pillars appear. Keep your eyes fixed on upcoming landing zones rather than your character sprite to anticipate whether a tap or a full-height leap is required.
  3. Section 4: Platforms shrink to narrow pillars, requiring chained buffered jumps. If you miss an upper route, look for lower safety ledges or emergency boost pads along the bottom perimeter to recover your trajectory rather than double-jumping aimlessly.

Managing Divinity Modifiers

Divinity upgrades increase resource payouts but introduce punishing platform conditions. Adjust these toggles based on your current objective:

ModifierStage AdjustmentsTactical ResponseWhen to Use
Standard StageFull-width platforms; no sawbladesFollow standard platforming rhythm and collect orbsEarly progression or practicing stage layouts
Hard ModeNarrow platforms; expanded pit gapsBuffer every jump on contact; do not hesitate on ledgesTurn on once your clear rate exceeds 80%
Silver DeathFloating sawblades along common jump arcsCut jump arcs short; drop early to slip under hazardsDisable for guaranteed clears, quests, or Armory chests

If your primary objective is securing an Armory chest or completing a specific event quest, turn off Silver Death. Keep Hard Mode active only when your jump buffering reliably handles shortened landing zones.

Handling Spirit Boosts and Goblins

Spirit Boost nodes propel your character forward and grant brief invulnerability, clearing difficult chasms automatically. However, boost propulsion ends abruptly at high speed. As the boost effect fades, immediately prepare a tap input to regain manual control before your character collides with a hazard or drops into a pit.

Bonus Stages also spawn Goblins across platform routes. Firing standard bow shots or Dark Projectiles while airborne clears these enemies before you land. Defeating Goblins at range prevents collision knockback, which otherwise halts forward momentum and causes fatal falls.

Multiplier Stacking for Soul Yields

Entering a Bonus Stage portal while carrying an active Souls multiplier or Mega Souls boost applies that multiplier to all stage orbs, Goblins, and the Section 4 completion bonus. When a portal spawns in a normal zone, wait to step through until you hit a beneficial random box multiplier, as long as the portal's despawn timer allows. Prioritize reaching the Section 4 exit over collecting difficult orbs, as the final completion reward provides the vast majority of the run's value.
