To unlock elite classes and masterclasses in IdleOn - Idle RPG, push through World 4 maps until you reach the class-specific promotion NPCs stationed across the outer space sector. Speaking to each trainer advances your secondary subclass into its elite tier—such as Divine Knight, Bubonic Conjuror, or Siege Breaker—unlocking an additional talent tab focused on active combat skills, account-wide bonuses, and town skill scaling.
World 4 Pushing Requirements
Reaching elite trainers requires defeating tens of thousands of portal enemies per map. Before advancing through World 4, confirm that your lead character meets the necessary accuracy and survival benchmarks:
- 100% Hit Chance: Check the accuracy thresholds for early zone enemies such as purple mush, TV screens, and donut mobs. If your hit chance drops below 100%, level up secondary stat talents or upgrade the Shaquaccuracy bubble in Alchemy to avoid stalled kill rates.
- Automated Food Recovery: Equip your highest-capacity food bags and place high-tier HP recovery foods into your automation slots. Pair this with the Goblet of Chonkers star talent to ensure your character does not die during extended AFK pushes.
- Map Buffs: Place your World 3 shrines directly on the map where your character is actively pushing to secure immediate bonuses to damage, defense, and crystal spawn rates.
Pushing is most efficient when using a fast clearing class—such as a Hunter or Shaman—to open portals down the line. Once the route is unlocked, your other characters can travel to the trainers directly or use teleportation items.
World 4 Class Trainer Locations
Elite promotions do not occur automatically at a specific character level. Each character archetype must speak to its designated trainer along the progression route.
| Archetype Base | Elite Class Promotion | Trainer Map Area | Primary Account Focus |
|---|---|---|---|
| Warrior (Squire / Berserker) | Divine Knight / Blood Berserker | Outer Space Outskirts | Construction build rate, refinery speed, and active drop multipliers |
| Mage (Wizard / Shaman) | Elemental Sorcerer / Bubonic Conjuror | Mid-Galaxy Astral Platforms | Active mob respawn chaining, Alchemy liquid generation, and card farming |
| Archer (Bowman / Hunter) | Siege Breaker / Beast Master | Deep Space Observation Outposts | Plunderous mob loot, World 5 Sailing, and World 4 Pet Breeding |
| Journeyman (Maestro) | Voidwalker (Masterclass) | Nebula Hidden Warp Node | Account-wide skilling bonuses, 3D printer sampling, and card drop rates |
Recommended Promotion Priority
Upgrading your roster in a structured sequence prevents town production bottlenecks and accelerates overall account gains.
1. Active Mob Clearer (Bubonic Conjuror or Elemental Sorcerer)
Promote a Mage first to establish an active farming engine:
- Bubonic Conjuror: Uses poison clouds and active revive mechanics to clear entire map screens instantly. This produces massive amounts of class experience and accelerates Alchemy liquid regeneration.
- Elemental Sorcerer: Uses portal summoning abilities to duplicate monster encounter pools, making it the most efficient choice for farming monster cards and rare stamp drops.
2. Construction Engine (Divine Knight)
Promote a Warrior second:
- Divine Knight: Features the Orb of Remembrance, which increases drop multipliers as your kill streak rises during active play. Its passive talents significantly boost World 3 Construction and Refinement speeds, preventing Salt Lick and smithing plateaus.
3. Idle Production Scalers (Siege Breaker and Beast Master)
Promote your Archers next to stabilize passive systems:
- Siege Breaker: Spawns Plunderous Mobs for high-tier loot scaling and accelerates World 5 Sailing progression.
- Beast Master: Directly improves Pet Breeding success and combat pet capabilities in World 4.
4. Account Skilling Anchor (Voidwalker)
Promote your Maestro to Voidwalker after your primary combat roster is established. Voidwalker provides large account-wide bonuses to non-combat skills, increases 3D printer sample sizes, and raises passive card drop chances.
Talent Point Allocation Rules
Each elite class unlocks a talent tab containing 15 skills. Distribute points using these priorities:
- Active Screen Clears: Place at least one point into primary mobility and area-of-effect skills (such as Divine Knight's shockwave or Bubonic Conjuror's revive) and add them to your active attack bar immediately.
- Main-Stat Damage Converters: Max out passive talents that convert total strength, agility, or wisdom into raw weapon power or percentage damage.
- Account-Wide Passives: Invest in utility passives that boost refinery cycles, pet breeding, or item rarity across all characters.
- Preset Separation: Keep separate talent presets for active mob farming and AFK gathering tasks to avoid spreading points too thin.
Managing Underleveled Roster Characters
Do not push an alternate character through World 4 if it lacks the accuracy or damage to clear portals efficiently. Secondary characters contribute substantial global strength through Family Bonuses; if an alt is struggling, pull it back to gather high-tier logs, ores, or fish. Use those materials to upgrade Alchemy vials, level up account stamps, and cook meals like Corndogs and Cabbage. These upgrades grant global percentage damage increases, allowing secondary characters to push World 4 portals with far lower gear requirements.
