Hyper-Focusing Your First A5 Carry

A single A5 hero provides far more combat power than five heroes balanced at A1 or A2. In higher campaign difficulties, enemy units carry high defense and health pools that stall evenly leveled squads. Reaching A5 unlocks critical mastery nodes, dramatically increases base stat multipliers, and boosts skill damage scalings. An A5 carry can survive incoming boss ultimates, clear campaign waves independently, and pull under-leveled support units through daily resource dungeons.

Once your primary damage dealer is fully awakened, farming future fodder and clearing daily challenges requires significantly less stamina.

Fodder Management and Food Upgrades

Creating a 5-star food unit requires five 4-star units, each built from multiple 3-star base heroes leveled to their cap. To maintain an efficient promotion pipeline without depleting essential roster assets, follow these guidelines:

• Protect natural epics and legendaries: Do not feed natural epic heroes as rank-up food. Keep them until you have fully upgraded their exclusives and verified that they have no immediate use in Faction Abyss.
• Level 3-star heroes systematically: Run 3-star fodder heroes in campaign stages until they hit the level 30 cap, then promote them using unleveled 3-star duplicates.
