Place Dwaarp towers centrally along map bottlenecks to clear grouped creep waves, and position Twilight Longbows behind or to the side of your front line to target Einar and his summoned units from a safe distance.

Defensive Roles and Tower Synergy

Defeating Einar requires dividing offensive duties clearly between your main tower types so neither gets overwhelmed:

• Dwaarp (Area of Effect): Position Dwaarps directly at heavy traffic choke points where enemy creeps naturally cluster. The continuous floor damage thins out squishy mobs and prevents fast creeps from bypassing your defense, creating a stable area where high-health units slow down.
• Twilight Longbow (Single-Target & Hero Snipe): Place Twilight Longbows along long sightlines slightly set back from choke points. This keeps them out of direct danger while allowing them to focus fire on Einar as he advances. Upgrading Longbows early ensures they generate enough burst damage to remove Einar's beast summons before your frontline gets bogged down.

Avoid clustering your towers so close together that they leave dead zones on the track. A balanced layout lets the Dwaarp control mob flow while keeping Longbows free to maintain target uptime on the enemy hero.

Viper Trail Final Wave Strategy

As the battle progresses toward the final wave (occurring around the 8:23 mark on Viper Trail), enemy density and hero pressure peak. Execute these tactical actions to secure the hold:

1. Stop Expanding, Start Upgrading: Refrain from placing new, low-level towers late in the match. Commit all remaining gold into upgrading existing Twilight Longbows and Dwaarps to maximize damage scaling.
2. Stall Enemy Progression: If Einar threatens to push through or disable your Dwaarp, use active spells or hero abilities to halt him directly within the line of sight of your Twilight Longbows.
3. Focus Hero Target Uptime: Keep Einar stalled outside melee range long enough for your upgraded Longbows to deplete his remaining health pool while the central Dwaarp handles incidental wave spawns.
