• Evolution upgrades your selected officer into their next star tier. Their identity, skills, and faction affiliation remain unchanged. Use evolution on core faction anchors, high-value pulls, and essential utility units to develop your primary formation predictably.
• Fusion consumes two max-level, +5 officers of the same star rank to generate a completely random officer of the next tier. Reserve fusion for low-tier or expendable fodder units when you want to gamble for unowned officers without sacrificing key roster pieces.

Officer Evolution Requirements

An officer cannot be evolved until both the level ceiling and enhancement threshold are satisfied. If an officer sits below +5 enhancement, the evolution interface remains unavailable.

Level up officers through campaign battles or EXP books. Reach the +5 enhancement requirement by feeding duplicate officers or lower-rarity enhancement fodder to the base unit before initiating evolution.

Required Materials and Costs

Completing an evolution requires two primary currencies:

1. Faction-Aligned Evolution Materials: These items correspond to the officer's innate element and target star rank. Obtain them through daily event dungeons, campaign stage rewards, and market exchanges.

Advancing an officer through evolution provides two substantial upgrades:

• Base Attribute Scaling: Evolving immediately increases base Health, Physical Attack, Magic Attack, and both Physical and Magic Defense. It also raises the unit's maximum level cap by 10 levels, expanding their growth potential.
• Skill Unlocks: Star promotions unlock dormant third and fourth skill tiers. Many utility units, healers, and buffers only gain their core crowd control, team buffs, or cleanse abilities once advanced into higher star ranks.
