Fitting Units into the Storage Grid

In Knightica, stored units occupy specific grid shapes and sizes. Managing your bench requires rotating and fitting these pieces into a finite storage layout.

• Rotate tiles to minimize empty squares: Always test unit orientations before clearing space. Rotating a multi-square unit can prevent leaving unusable single-slot gaps.
• Account for equipment: Held items and equipment also take up inventory grid space. Leave open slots near unit clusters so you do not have to sell a valuable combatant just to fit a dropped weapon.
• Group by role for faster swaps: Store front-line tanks in one section of your grid and ranged or support units in another. Pre-sorting reduces prep-phase delays when swapping troops onto the battle board.
