To maximize your damage score during the Leviathan Trap event in Last Beacon: Survival, concentrate your strongest offensive heroes into a single rally that you host, dispatch all remaining march queues to join rallies led by alliance members, and relocate your base directly next to the trap structure before the event begins.

How the Leviathan Trap Works

The Leviathan Trap is a scheduled alliance PvE event that lasts for a 30-minute window once activated by an alliance leader or officer. Your objective is to deal as much cumulative damage as possible to earn tiered milestone chests and boost alliance ranking rewards.

Key combat conditions include:

  • No permanent troop deaths: Units sent against the Leviathan return wounded rather than killed, meaning hospital capacity is the only troop management limit.
  • Pure offensive focus: The boss does not retaliate against player bases. Defensive wall stats, shields, and healing abilities offer no scoring value; raw damage per second determines your rank.
  • Two reward tracks: Every successful hit contributes to both individual damage milestones and overall alliance ranking scores.

March Queue Configuration

Rather than dividing your best heroes across multiple solo attacks, dedicate one queue to hosting a personal rally and use the rest to reinforce other players.

March SlotPrimary RoleLineup Priority
March 1 (Host)Initiates personal 5-minute ralliesSingle highest-level burst/DPS heroes, best gear, top-tier troops, maximum rally capacity
March 2 (Joiner)Fills top alliance ralliesSecondary damage heroes matched to the host's specialized troop types
March 3 (Joiner)Fills open alliance ralliesSingle-target offensive heroes and available offensive units
March 4 (Joiner)Continuous queue fillerRemaining combat troops; immediately joins any open 5-minute rally

Building Your Primary Host Lineup

Your host march sets the rally capacity and baseline strength for everyone who joins you:

  1. Select heroes with single-target offensive skills, armor penetration, attack speed boosts, or critical strike buffs.
  2. Equip your best offensive chips, combat modules, and gear sets onto this squad.
  3. Activate any temporary inventory combat buffs or territory attack boosts immediately before the trap spawns.
  4. Ensure your march lead has the highest available rally capacity so alliance members can pack additional troops into your lobby.

Managing Secondary Reinforcement Marches

Your secondary queues should never start their own rallies if alliance capacity is already available. Instead, send them into lobbies hosted by high-capacity alliance leaders.

Where possible, match the troop types favored by the rally leader to benefit from passive troop synergy bonuses. If a high-capacity lobby is not currently open, join any active five-minute rally immediately. Keeping marches constantly hitting the boss yields higher total damage than letting queues sit idle waiting for an ideal lobby.

Positioning and March Management

Travel time directly limits how many times your troops can strike during the 30-minute window. A base positioned far away may only complete three or four rallies, while a base parked adjacent to the trap can land fifteen or more.

  • Teleport before activation: Use a territorial teleport to relocate your base directly on the perimeter of the Leviathan Trap structure. Aim for a one-way march transit time of thirty seconds or less.
  • Stick to 5-minute rallies: Always select the minimum five-minute rally option. Longer countdowns waste valuable event uptime.
  • Redeploy immediately: Watch the return timers on returning squads and instantly assign them into the next available rally without downtime.
  • Bank stamina in advance: Stockpile stamina items before the event starts. Running out of stamina mid-battle stops your queues from launching and forfeits score progression.
