If you’re saving resources for Alliance VS, time technology research to coincide with a daily task that awards points for research. The supplied guidance recommends aligning research with those tasks, but does not specify the event schedule or its rewards.
Before starting research, check whether the relevant daily task is active or upcoming. If research contributes to that task, use your research then; otherwise, the supplied material doesn’t establish a better time to spend those resources.
