If a much stronger player is targeting your base in Last War, prioritize protection over fighting back: activate a peace shield if you have one, and alert your alliance so exposed members can prepare.

Protect your base first

The draft’s main defensive steps are to shield early, reduce resources an attacker could loot if you cannot shield, and relocate to make your base harder to find. These are suggested responses, not guarantees that an attacker will stop targeting your server.

  1. If your alliance reports an approaching threat, activate a peace shield before the attacker reaches your base, if available.
  2. If you cannot shield, spend or transfer resources where possible to limit potential loot.
  3. Consider relocating rather than staying in one place.

Warn alliance members and avoid rushed retaliation

Use alliance chat or Discord to share the hostile player’s coordinates, if known. Members who may be in the attacker’s path can then decide whether to shield or prepare.

The draft advises against retaliating out of anger or trying to trade attacks with a player who greatly outpowers your group. It does not establish that a coordinated defense can stop that player, so focus on reducing exposure rather than promising a counterattack will succeed.

After an attack

If the threat is still active, the draft recommends waiting before committing speed-ups and resources to repairs. It also suggests keeping hospital capacity in mind: the draft warns that troops lost after capacity is reached may die permanently. Check your situation before sending troops into a fight or spending resources on recovery.
