To unlock the good Wude ending in Sifu Mobile, you must spare all five bosses across the story instead of executing them: Fajar the Botanist, Sean the Fighter, Kuroki the Artist, Jinfeng the CEO, and Yang the Leader. Sparing requires you to reach Phase 2 of each fight, break the boss's structure meter twice without depleting their health, ignore the first takedown prompt, and activate the spare prompt upon the second break.

Universal Rules for Sparing Bosses

Every boss encounter follows the same underlying sparing conditions:

  1. Clear Phase 1 normally: Sparing mechanics only become available during Phase 2. Deplete their health or break their structure to trigger the phase transition as usual.
  2. Break Phase 2 structure once: Focus on parries and light counter-attacks to fill the boss's yellow structure bar.
  3. Ignore the first takedown prompt: When the boss staggers and the takedown button appears on screen, do not press it. Back away or wait for the prompt to disappear and allow the boss's structure to partially reset.
  4. Break Phase 2 structure a second time: Resume defensive play and parry incoming strikes until the structure bar shatters again.
  5. Press the spare command: A dedicated spare button will appear alongside the dialogue prompt. Tap it immediately to grant mercy and end the stage peacefully.

If a boss's red health bar hits zero at any point in Phase 2, they die immediately, locking that stage into the standard revenge path.

Boss Sparing Priorities and Strategies

Each boss presents specific hazards that can cause an accidental kill or a failed structure break.

BossPhase 2 ThreatSparing Priority
Fajar the BotanistMachete slashes and ambush jump attacksParry blade swings and low sweeps; avoid heavy counter combos.
Sean the FighterSweeping flaming staff flurriesDuck under high sweeps, parry vertical staff hits, and rely on his large health pool.
Kuroki the ArtistThrown kunai and high-speed dagger dashesDodge ranged daggers, parry close-range rushes, and avoid chasing staggered states.
Jinfeng the CEOFragile vitality and long-range rope dart sweepsParry rope dart strikes; avoid weapons and heavy punishes to prevent premature death.
Yang the LeaderFocus-attack immunity, rapid palm strikes, and sweepsRely entirely on precise parry rhythms; do not attempt heavy offensive strings.

Fajar the Botanist (The Squats)

In the bamboo forest, Fajar relies on fast machete combinations and leaping attacks from the foliage. Deflect his blade swings and avoid executing heavy counter strings. When his posture breaks, back off until the prompt vanishes. Deflect his subsequent flurry to rupture his posture once more, then press spare.

Sean the Fighter (The Club)

Sean's second phase adds fire to his staff attacks. His large health pool makes him difficult to kill accidentally. Use high avoidances (ducking) against his wide sweeps and parry his downward slams. Step back after his first posture break, wait out the prompt, and deflect his next three-hit chain to trigger the mercy option.

Kuroki the Artist (The Museum)

Kuroki discards her staff for daggers, rapidly throwing ranged projectiles and dashing across the arena. Dodge or catch her thrown kunai and stand your ground to parry her melee dashes. When her balance cracks the first time, refrain from tapping the execution button. Parry her next charge to shatter her structure a second time.

Jinfeng the CEO (The Tower)

Jinfeng has the lowest health pool of all bosses, making her the easiest target to accidentally kill. Discard any melee weapons before entering Phase 2. Do not use heavy offensive combos; instead, stand at mid-range and parry her high and low bell strikes. Let the initial takedown prompt expire, deflect her follow-up sweep, and spare her.

Yang the Leader (The Sanctuary)

Yang uses Pak-Mei Kung Fu and cancels your focus moves entirely, demanding pure defensive mastery. Sparing him requires chaining parries against his palm strikes, sweeps, and wall kicks. Resist muscle memory when the first takedown prompt appears. Recover your guard, parry his final offensive sequence to crack his stance again, and select spare to reach the true Wude conclusion.

How to Avoid Accidental Boss Kills

  • Drop weapons before Phase 2: Melee weapons deal high vitality damage. Bare-handed parries deal consistent structure damage while preserving the target's health.
  • Stop attacking below 25% boss health: If a boss's health bar reaches critical levels before the second break, halt all offensive strikes and rely strictly on deflecting incoming attacks to fill the remaining structure meter.
  • Avoid multi-hit offensive juggles: Stick to single light counter-attacks after successful dodges or parries to prevent unexpected lethal damage.
