Prioritize safe Siphoning Strike farm
Use Siphoning Strike to secure minion kills and build permanent stacks. When you can, keep the wave closer to your turret so Heimerdinger has to move farther forward to pressure you. Don’t take significant damage just to contest farm.
Use Spirit Fire sparingly to manage the wave, since it costs mana. Avoid using it when Siphoning Strike can secure the minion instead.
Wait for a clear opening
Don’t engage just because Heimerdinger is in range. Look for a chance to trade after he commits to a deep trade or uses crowd control. If neither happens, keep farming rather than forcing an early fight.
