To win a 30v30 Fortress Siege in Lineage 2: Revolution, your clan must achieve the match win condition: complete an uninterrupted Holy Artifact imprint with your Clan Leader, or hold a higher objective score and structure integrity when the 20-minute match timer expires. Kills yield contribution points, but structural destruction and territorial control dictate the outcome.

Match Phases and Objective Flow

Fortress Siege maps are symmetrical. Each clan defends a base fortified by Outer Gates and Defense Towers, separated by a neutral middle ground containing buff altars and narrow choke points. Battles progress through three distinct operational phases:

  1. Opening Phase (Minutes 0–3): Deploy squads to capture neutral altars in the center lane and scout the enemy clan's opening formation.
  2. Breaching Phase: Destroy the enemy Outer Gate, demolish front-line Defense Towers, and rotate skirmishers to refresh expiring altar buffs.
  3. Inner Sanctum Push: Wipe remaining base defenders, trap reinforcements at their spawn barrier, and secure the perimeter while your Clan Leader imprints the Holy Artifact.

Altar Buff Control

Neutral altars grant stackable, team-wide stat enhancements that decide frontline trades. Capturing an altar requires standing inside its capture zone uninterrupted until the progress bar completes. If players from both clans stand in the zone simultaneously, progress pauses until one side is eliminated.

AltarTeam Buff ProvidedOperational Priority
Altar of EarthIncreased Defense and Max HPGrants survivability to absorb Defense Tower fire and hold frontline choke points.

Altar buffs operate on set expiration timers. Assign a high-mobility squad to track these timers and recapture the zones immediately as buffs drop.

30-Player Clan Squad Composition

Organize your 30 participants into six coordinated 5-player parties to maximize party-wide buffs and balance field duties:

  • Parties 1 & 2 (Vanguard Breakers): Built around durable frontline classes (Paladin, Guardian, Warlord) paired with dedicated healers (Bishop, Eva's Elder). These parties absorb crowd control, draw tower target locks, and create space for ranged damage dealers.
  • Parties 3 & 4 (Siege & Artillery): Composed of ranged damage dealers (Hawkeye, Spellsinger, Spellhowler). They position directly behind the vanguard to deal concentrated damage to gates, towers, and bunched enemy defenders.
  • Party 5 (Mobile Strike & Altar Control): High-mobility skirmishers (such as Plainswalker and Silver Ranger) who patrol side routes, maintain altar uptime, and harass enemy reinforcements.
  • Party 6 (Command & Bodyguard): Dedicated crowd-control classes and defensive supports assigned to escort the Clan Leader. Only the Clan Leader can imprint the Holy Artifact, making this squad's survival essential.

Breaching Gates and Defense Towers

Approaching fortified choke points requires disciplined positioning:

  • Outer Gate Approach: Do not cluster directly in the gate threshold. Defending teams frequently drop high-impact area-of-effect (AoE) skills and rare skills like Meteor Storm into the center of the choke. Spread your vanguard across the approach while ranged classes strike the gate from maximum range.
  • Tower Prioritization: Once the gate falls, eliminate the Defense Towers before pushing into the inner courtyard. Defense Towers inflict heavy percentage-based damage and debilitating debuffs. Chasing retreating enemies past active towers will wipe your backline and trap your assault force.

Executing the Holy Artifact Imprint

The Holy Artifact imprint requires an uninterrupted cast from the Clan Leader. Any damage taken, stun, knockback, or silence instantly cancels the interaction and resets the channel.

Execute the final assault in this order:

  1. Clear the Pedestal: Force defenders back into their base spawn area. Ensure no enemy ranged attackers maintain line of sight to the artifact.
  2. Contain the Spawn Point: Position Vanguard and Artillery squads just outside the enemy resurrection barrier. Lay down lingering AoE fields, stuns, and knockdowns to intercept defenders as soon as their spawn invulnerability ends.
  3. Shield the Clan Leader: Move healers and tanks directly on top of the Clan Leader. Pre-cast defensive barriers, continuous healing, and crowd-control immunity buffs.
  4. Rotate Rare Skills: Clan members must cycle defensive rare skills, including Absolute Barrier and Healing Strike, directly over the Clan Leader to absorb stray projectile damage.

If an enemy counter-push disrupts the imprint channel, pull back to the inner gate entrance immediately, wipe the counter-attack, and re-establish the spawn trap before channeling again.
