To clear floors 1F through 15F of the Hell Tower of Insolence in Lineage 2: Revolution, switch from auto-combat to semi-auto or manual control, kite enemy waves around the arena perimeter, and save your burst skills to burn the floor boss before the timer expires.

Introduced in update version v1.62.10, the Hell difficulty tier significantly increases incoming damage and monster health pools compared to standard tower floors. Standing still on auto-pathing guarantees that your character absorbs heavy cleave and crowd control, quickly draining your resources and failing the stage's enrage timer.

Arena Combat and Kiting Strategy

Each floor drops your character into a circular arena where minion waves spawn alongside or immediately before the floor boss. Avoid the arena center at the start of the encounter.

  1. Circle the outer perimeter: Immediately run wide laps along the edge of the room. This groups melee and ranged minions into a consolidated pack behind you, setting them up for clean area-of-effect (AoE) skill damage.
  2. Conserve your dash: Save your evasion roll for unavoidable floor telegraphs or wide ground slams rather than basic movement.
  3. Reposition behind the boss: Once the boss initiates an attack animation, step directly behind the target to avoid frontal cones and gain back-attack critical bonuses.
  4. Avoid arena boundaries when cornered: Do not get pinned against walls, as charges and persistent area-of-effect damage fields can trap your character without an exit angle.

Boss Mechanics Across Floors 1F–15F

Bosses across these floors feature telegraphed crowd control, high burst damage, and linear charge abilities. The encounter mechanics progress across three primary floor brackets:

Floor TierPrimary ThreatDominant Boss MechanicsTactical Response
Floors 1F–5FHigh minion densityFrontal cleave cones and basic knockdownsCircle the edge to bunch mobs, then deploy AoE burst
Floors 6F–10FStun chains and rush attacksLinear charges and circular ground slamsSidestep red telegraph lines perpendicularly; hold invulnerability skills
Floors 11F–15FArena-wide burst and area denialWide shockwaves and persistent damage fieldsBait boss abilities toward the edge; reserve dash for emergency evasion

When facing linear charge skills starting on Floor 6F, walk or dash perpendicular to the red targeting strip. Because bosses possess crowd control resistance, save hard knockdowns or stuns specifically to interrupt long telegraph windups rather than using them on cooldown.

Pre-Floor Setup and Resource Management

Entering Hell floors without adjusting automated settings often leads to premature deaths. Adjust your loadout and consumable settings before spending entry attempts:

  • HP Potion threshold: Set automatic potion consumption to 70% or 80% to ensure your health pool survives sudden burst combos.
  • Soulshot activation: Keep Soulshots toggled on to meet the stage's strict damage checks.
  • Buff preparation: Apply Clan buffs, Feast bonuses, and stat-boosting Elixirs prior to challenging your highest available floor.
  • Skill bar setup: Slot at least one reliable hard crowd control skill alongside high-damage burst options, such as Rare Skills like Missile Bolt or Meteor Shower. Disable auto-triggering on these high-cooldown abilities so they are ready when the boss appears.

Progression and Daily Sweeps

Track your clear speed against the room countdown. If clearing the initial minion pack takes more than one-third of the total floor timer, your damage output is generally too low to beat the boss before the enrage limit. When hitting a damage wall, pause manual attempts to avoid wasting Soulshots and potions. Invest resources into gear enhancement, attribute leveling, and monster codex bonuses, while using the daily sweep function on your highest cleared floor to collect guaranteed upgrade materials.
