To score KvK (Kingdom vs. Kingdom) points with a trap castle in Lords Mobile, you must bait solo attacks from enemy players rather than attacking outward. Defending your own castle eliminates entire marches for rapid Solo Phase 3 progress without triggering Battle Fury, leaving you free to shield or relocate if enemies respond with a coalition rally.

Relocate Near Mid-Tier Enemy Hives

Scoring on a trap castle requires traveling to an active opposing kingdom using a Kingdom Translocation scroll. Home kingdoms offer few scoring opportunities because friendly guilds control the territory, discouraging enemy solo attackers from crossing the border.

Position your castle 10 to 20 miles outside mid-tier guild clusters (players between 400 million and 800 million might):

  • Avoid Titan clusters: Landing directly inside a top guild's hive triggers immediate five-minute rallies with stats that can overwhelm a solo trap.
  • Target aggressive solo leads: Mid-tier war hives house players who command full Tier 4 or Tier 5 blast marches and are confident enough to attack unshielded castles alone.

Set Up the Bait Appearance and Anti-Scout

To draw blind solo attacks, present your castle as an inattentive target:

  1. Equip non-combat gear: Wear Monster Hunting gear, gathering sets, or low-tier equipment. Equipping high-tier war gear scares attackers away, while leaving your hero completely unequipped looks suspicious.
  2. Deploy your leader to the wall: Attackers actively search for leaders to capture for execution bonuses.
  3. Keep Anti-Scout active: Leaving Anti-Scout off allows experienced scouts to discover your deep Tier 2 troop reserves. Running Anti-Scout over hunting gear encourages overconfident players to send a blind blast march, assuming your castle is an unattended bank or farming account.

Counter the Incoming March Before Impact

The counter occurs within the final two seconds before the enemy march lands on your wall. Wait out the march—even if the attacker uses Winged Boots—until the timer enters the last two seconds, at which point the attacker can no longer recall their troops.

Once the attack is locked in:

  1. Swap to your defensive combat gear set.
  2. Activate an Army ATK boost.
  3. Match your phalanx to counter the incoming blast.

Identify the enemy's troop type by looking at the marching hero model and familiar animation on the map, then set your formation accordingly:

Incoming Enemy BlastRecommended Formation CounterObjective
Infantry BlastCavalry Phalanx or Cavalry WedgeWipes out the enemy front line before it reaches your backline.
Cavalry BlastInfantry Phalanx or Infantry WedgeAbsorbs the initial charge and eliminates cavalry on impact.
Ranged BlastInfantry Phalanx or Ranged PhalanxCloses distance quickly and minimizes wall damage.

Wiping out a 375,000-troop blast completes solo event milestones and imprisons the enemy leader, removing their bonuses for the remainder of the battle.

Manage Retaliation and Reset Your Base

Defending against an attack on your turf does not incur Battle Fury. In Lords Mobile, Battle Fury triggers only through offensive actions, such as attacking, scouting, or reinforcing an unshielded ally.

Because you remain out of Fury, you can respond immediately if the enemy guild sets a rally to free their captured leader:

  • Activate a Peace Shield: Shuts down the rally immediately if the incoming coalition force exceeds your holding capacity.
  • Use a Random Relocator: Escapes the hive area instantly while keeping your captured leader and points intact.

Once safe, immediately open your Infirmaries. Heal all wounded Tier 2 frontline troops using resources and speed-ups before taking another attack. An overflowing hospital causes subsequent casualties to die permanently, stripping away the defensive depth required to trap incoming blasts. After your infirmaries are clear, swap back into bait gear to repeat the process.
