To pass difficult stages in Lumi Master, inspect enemy elemental attributes before combat, field units with an elemental advantage, and hold your main unit abilities until the final boss wave. When stats fall behind stage requirements, collect accumulated idle rewards to raise your roster's levels before attempting the fight again.

Using Elemental Counters for Damage Multipliers

Lumi Master uses a rock-paper-scissors elemental attribute system. Deploying a unit with an elemental advantage increases your damage output against that target, while fielding a unit weak to the enemy's attribute results in taking severe damage.

Before entering a stage, check the opposing unit lineup and modify your team:

  • Match attributes: Select active party members whose elements directly counter the dominant enemy types in the stage.
  • Target high-threat targets: Use elemental counters to eliminate high-damage enemies early in the fight to preserve party health.
  • Build elemental coverage: Maintain at least one high-level monster for each major elemental type so you can swap units as regional enemy types shift.

Timing Ability Cooldowns for Boss Encounters

Standard mobs in early stage waves can be handled by basic attacks and automatic combat actions. Using powerful active abilities during initial waves leaves your squad vulnerable when the main encounter begins.

  1. Allow basic attacks to clear initial trash mob waves.
  2. Monitor unit ability cooldowns to ensure primary skills are ready before entering the final room.
  3. Unleash stored abilities on the stage boss to burst down its higher health pool quickly.

If a stage run fails, evaluate whether abilities were triggered prematurely or if your party is missing a key elemental counter against the boss.

Roster Growth and Idle Progression

Advancing through main story chapters requires both roster variety and steady level upgrades.

  • Automated Capture: Use the game's auto-capture systems to collect new monsters automatically. Filling out your encyclopedia provides the roster depth needed to swap units for specific elemental matchups.
  • Idle Rewards and Base Production: Background base systems generate materials required for leveling and evolving companions. If enemies consistently knock out your party despite favorable elemental matchups, claim your accumulated idle rewards and upgrade your primary elemental monsters before retrying the stage.
