For Magic Sort! levels 1–15, focus on matching the color at the top of a bottle and preserving room to move layers. Before pouring, check whether the move opens access to another color or leaves you with fewer useful options.

Use empty bottles to uncover blocked layers

Pour only when the receiving bottle is empty or has the same color on top, and has room for the liquid. If a mixed bottle blocks the color underneath, move its top layer to an empty bottle, clear the exposed color, then return to the stored layer when it can be placed.

Treat empty bottles as temporary space, not as a reason to move liquid at random. Before using one, consider how you will free it again.

Check a move before committing

Prioritize moves that consolidate matching colors or expose a layer you can move next. Before each pour, ask:

  • Does the destination have room and the same color on top, or is it empty?
  • Will the move expose a color or free a bottle?
  • Will the move leave a usable place for later pours?

If the move blocks access to other colors and creates no useful space, reconsider it. The supplied walkthrough covers levels 1–15, but does not provide level-by-level move sequences, so use these checks as general guidance rather than a fixed solution for every board.
