To win 3v3 Robottles in Medabots S, you must control the flow of the active command line, destroy key offensive limbs, and disable the opposing team leader. A match ends in an immediate victory when the enemy leader is defeated, even if both of their wingman units are fully functional.

The Active Command Line System

Combat operates on a real-time track where all six Medabots run back and forth between their starting positions and the central command line. Turn order is dynamic and depends entirely on unit speed rather than a static turn list.

Combat PhaseUnit ActionTactical Effect
Charge RunDashes from start to center lineLeg speed determines who enters the command prompt first
Command InputSelects Head, Right Arm, or Left ArmLocks in targets and commits part action costs
Execution SprintSprints forward to strike zoneUnit executes attack and risks disruption or defensive counters
Cooling ReturnSprints back to the start positionUnit recovers while evasion drops, leaving it open to counter-attacks

A Medabot's leg parts dictate base movement speed across the active line. Matching your leg parts to the arena's terrain increases propulsion and evasion, allowing your units to reach the command line ahead of mismatched opponents. Fast units can trigger status disruptions—such as stop, freeze, or bug—to delay enemy charge meters and cycle multiple turns before slow brawlers can attack.

Part Structure and Durability

Each Medabot consists of four parts, each with individual armor values. When a part takes damage equal to its maximum armor, it breaks permanently for the remainder of the battle.

  • Head: Provides high-impact utility or burst damage, but carries strict usage limits per match.
  • Right Arm and Left Arm: Execute standard attacks and utility actions repeatedly, balanced by part execution times and cooling return delays.
  • Legs: Dictate base movement speed across the timeline, terrain compatibility, and overall evasion.

Because broken parts cannot be used again during the fight, prioritize disabling the primary weapon arm of high-damage enemies to neutralize their threat. Conversely, protect your own offensive limbs by using guard bots to absorb incoming hits, and save limited Head charges for critical moments such as finishing weakened foes or deploying urgent support skills.

Leader Targeting and Board Control

At the start of standard matches, the identity of the enemy leader is concealed. Every strike dealt against opposing units provides clues to help identify which Medabot acts as the command unit. Once identified, focusing all offensive pressure onto the leader will bypass the remaining squad and secure an instant win.

However, direct rushes fail against teams using dedicated guard units. Guard bots intercept single-target burst attacks with defensive shields, protecting the leader while their attackers advance down the timeline. When facing defensive setups, dismantle the guard bot's shields or disable secondary attackers first to create a clear opening against the leader.

Handling Fast Aggressive Openers

Teams running high-speed leg parts can reach the command line and break your wingman arms before heavy units have a chance to act. Counter aggressive openings with the following sequence:

  1. Equip high-mobility legs on guard units: Put your fastest leg parts on your defensive shield bot to ensure its guard stance activates before enemy skirmishers reach execution range.
  2. Apply speed-reducing status effects: Target fast enemy runners with status disruptions to break their movement cycle and extend their return sprint.
  3. Counter-attack during cooling returns: Strike heavy attackers immediately after they complete an attack, catching them while their evasion is reduced on the return dash.
