In-Run Skill Selection Priorities

When leveling up mid-run, focus on increasing projectile volume and screen coverage over defensive buffs. High damage is ineffective if your attacks hit only one target at a time while swarms close in from all directions.

Multi-Shot Upgrades: Pick these first. Increasing the number of projectiles fired per burst broadens your attack cone and clears multiple lanes simultaneously.
Piercing Effects: Select piercing so projectiles travel through enemies instead of dissipating on the first hit. This prevents dense groups from body-blocking your damage.
