Petit Planet Avatar Customization and Radial Emote Guide

In Petit Planet, you can personalize your avatar's appearance through character creation and map social expressions directly to a radial menu for fast access during exploration.

Access the customization suite from the main menu to select visual features, adjust model scales, and pick specific tail designs. To reduce menu navigation while chatting or interacting in social hubs, assign your active emotes to primary radial slots and save your layout.

Customizing Your Avatar's Appearance

The character customization suite provides options to adjust your character's silhouette, accessories, and overall aesthetic before and during your play sessions in the beta.

Tail Designs and Features: Select from various tail styles and fluffiness options to set your character's primary visual trait.
Color Palettes and Parts: Use the visual tabs to modify individual body parts and tweak color schemes.
Scale and Accessory Adjustments: If bulky accessories or large model scales obstruct your view of the UI or camera during exploration, re-open the customization menu at any time to adjust your model's proportions or remove specific items.

Mapping your most frequent reactions to the quick-access wheel keeps your screen clear and allows fast communication without searching through sub-menus.

Open the main menu and select the Expression or Emote management tab.
Browse your collection of social reactions, dances, and character-specific movement animations.
Select an emote and assign it to an open slot on the primary ring of your radial menu.
Save the loadout configuration to ensure your shortcut mapping persists across your gameplay sessions.

Keep your primary radial ring reserved for high-frequency actions like greetings or core movement emotes. If you use a wide variety of expressions, place situational animations into secondary slots or rotate loadouts based on whether you are exploring terrain or visiting player bases.
