This menu serves as your main shortcut hub during the Closed Beta Test (CBT), allowing you to swap utility items, trigger emotes, and select dialogue choices without opening full inventory screens.

Assigning Tool Slots on the Radial Wheel

Directly mapping your tools to specific directions on the radial wheel prevents camera resets and avoids inventory management while harvesting resources or terraforming terrain. Place your primary utility items on predictable directions so you can switch tools by muscle memory.

To pin an item, open your inventory, highlight the tool or emote, and bind it to your chosen position on the radial wheel.

Handling NPC Radial Menus

When initiating conversations or trades with NPCs, Petit Planet presents a specialized interaction wheel containing dialogue choices and gift-giving prompts.

1. Approach the NPC and press the interaction input to bring up the dialogue wheel.
2. Identify the icon prompt before confirming your direction. Distinct icons indicate standard dialogue versus high-value options like gifting items.
3. Confirm your choice carefully. The wheel uses precise directional sensitivity; moving too quickly can lead to selecting an unintended option or closing the prompt prematurely.

Adjusting Radial Menu Settings

If the radial interface interferes with your view or responds too quickly to minor inputs, adjust the display properties in the system menu:

• Trigger Delay: Increase or decrease the hold time required for the radial menu to appear. A shorter delay speeds up tool swaps, while a longer delay prevents accidental menu pop-ups during basic interactions.
• Transparency Level: Lower the opacity of the radial menu wheel if it obstructs your visual awareness of nearby resource nodes or dynamic events.
