To process suspects in Police Chief and maintain an active fleet, you must apprehend targets using the field radial menu, secure them in a patrol vehicle, manually unload them at the station, and interact with a booking terminal to complete their administrative transfer to holding cells.

Suspect Processing Workflow

1. Initiate Field Arrests

Approach the suspect in the field, open the radial menu, and select the arrest command to restrain them immediately.

1. Secure Transport

Park your patrol vehicle near the scene. Click on the car to load and secure the restrained suspect inside before driving back to the precinct.

1. Unload Detainees at the Precinct

Park at the station, open the vehicle interaction prompt, and select the unload function. Leaving suspects in the car keeps that vehicle locked out of service for future patrols.

1. Complete Administrative Booking

Escort the detainee to a central booking terminal and trigger the booking command. Skipping terminal booking leaves suspects in administrative limbo, occupying space without generating task progress or revenue.

1. Transfer to Holding Cells

Move the booked suspect into an open holding cell. Ensure your holding cells are maintained, accessible, and below capacity, as full cells block further bookings.

Precinct Logistics and Staff Efficiency

• Clear Hallways: Keep precinct entrances and corridors free of clutter and debris so officers do not encounter pathfinding issues while moving detainees.
• Assign Dedicated Roles: Divide precinct staff between booking desk operations and transport duties to clear vehicle backlogs in the garage.
• Monitor Officer Energy: Track energy levels across your roster. Exhausted officers move significantly slower, creating delays across the entire arrest cycle.
